Trials of the Fist. Seiryu vs Evil Ryu

Trial of the Iron Fist.

Agent Seiryu was heading towards K'un Lun in an effort to recruit the current Iron Fist to his team. That Iron Fist was no other than Sakura Kasugano. She acquired the Fist from Ryu and Ryu borrowed that power from Danny Rand

Upon arrival, Agent Seiryu was approached by members of the Order of the Crane Mother

Guard Monk#1: We won't suffer heretics
Seiryu: I need to speak with the Protector of K'un Lun
Guard Monk#2: Yo shall not pass
Seiryu: I'll only respond. Don't attack me.

Seiryu didn't squandered any more words and proceeds to the gates, only to be thwarted by the monks. They begin to fight with him

The first monk tried a flying kick, but he was knock down by Seyriu's Tanden Arm. Two other monks try to hit him, but Seiryu quickly counters with a quick succession of Hyakurenko punches. Other tries to attack him from a side, but Seiryu body slams him with a Koshuto

Then someone uses Hadoken towards him, but he absorbs the surge with his Tanden Winter Soldier arm and counters the attack with a Kikoken. The attacker dodges Seiryu's surge. It was Sakura Kasugano

Seiryu: It's been a long time, Kasugano sifu.
Sakura: You again. It's been a while.

The monks were about to hit Seiryu, but he shows them an emblem given to him by another Iron Fist.

Sakura: Settle down. He's my guest.
Seiryu: There's trouble under the heavens. We need you, Immortal Iron Fist.

Sakura stood silent, pondering the situation. Specifically how the Tanden Winter Soldier arm absorbed the surge.

Seiryu: I know that K'un Lun's gates will be closed soon. There's no need to guarding them and the rest of the world will need the best fighters among them.
Sakura: My duties aren't over yet, but if you wish to acquire my help, there's something you might do.
Seiryu: What is thy bidding, sifu?
Sakura: (annoyed) Don't call me that! You're older than me!

Sakura collects herself.

Sakura: All you need to know is that the training grounds were corrupted by darkness. A former Iron Fist lost himself to his inner demons and needs to be dealt with.

Seiryu was interested, because in his childhood he was trained with the training modules of various fighters on S.I.N, Iron Fist included.

Seiryu: I have waited many years to test my mettle against the real Iron Fist.
Sakura: There are others that are trying to cleanse the darkness as well. I will go to assist you when the gates close.

Seiryu went to the training grounds and found an obstacle course. He sorted out the obstacles no problem, but he begins to ponder the situation

Seiryu noticed a female fallen monk and headed to help her, applying a mixture of green and red herbs.

Seiryu: You'll be alright.
monk: That's a raging demon!

Then Seiryu knew of whom she was talking about. It was Ryu Hoshi.

Seiryu: When he resigned the Fist, he was overtaken by the need of it and resorted to the Satsui No Hadou.

Then a menacing feature appears before him. It was indeed Evil Ryu

Seiryu: You remind me of myself when I got lost in the violence and darkness. I still am.
Evil Ryu: You will witness the power of the Satsui.
Seiryu: I've been there, Ryu-sifu. Allow me to quench your battle thirst, by showing you my reason for victory
Evil Ryu: Victory means UTTER DESTRUCTION!!!

The fight begins with Seiryu attacking with Hyakuretsukyaku, but Evil Ryu blocks every hit and counters with a sweep that leaves Seiryu in the ground. Then Evil Ryu tries to pierce Seiryu with his fist, but Seiryu evades at the last moment. Seiryu pick himself up and counters with a combination of jab-cross and Patriot Uppercut.

Seiryu: Look at you. You've lost control over your power.
Evil Ryu: I'll show you real power!
Seiryu: Been there, done that. Let me help you.
Evil Ryu: You can help me by DYING!

Evil Ryu uses the Ashura Senku to get close to Seiryu and proceeds to hit min in the ribs and face, but when he tries to kick him in the face, Seiryu dodges the first kick, but not the side thrust kick.

Seiryu: (thinking: Was I that monstrous when I fought against Juri Han and Next Captain America?)
Evil Ryu: The power of Satsui calls out for blood!

Seiryu snaps and proceeds to attack with a series of roadhouse kicks, followed by a counter-elbow strike to the face, but Evil Ryu sees trough the technique and makes his best move, the Demon Rage Attack

Evil Ryu: Messatsu!

Evil Ryu glides towards Seiryu and grabs them. Suddenly, in a blink of an eye Seiryu is relentlessly beaten and falls to the floor. But Seiryu gets back on his feet

Seiryu: I could do this all day
Evil Ryu: Your death awaits
Seiryu: My reason for victory outweighs yours! You haven't seen anything! GET READY!!  LIBERTY SURGE!!

Seiryu gathers intense ki energy in his palms, then releases a charging concussive blast, capable of toppling Evil Ryu. Then Seiryu uses his Tanden Winter Soldier arm to get the Satsui no Hadou from him. Then Seiryu projects the excessive ki energy to the heavens, finishing the fight

Seiryu: Are you alright?
Ryu: Ugh! I feel fine. At peace.

Then Sakura and the elders of the Chaste appeared

Elder: You've cleansed the training grounds from the darkness. I'm impressed
Seiryu: I had a good teacher

Sakura goes and hugs Ryu while shedding tears

Sakura: The gates are closed and both The Iron Fist and the Chaste will assist you.

Then Ryu gets close to him

Ryu: Your charging technique bears semblance with Chun-Li's Kikosho.
Seiryu: So i have been told

Seiryu smiles

Ryu: It was a good fight
Seiryu: Not all of the answers lies in the heat of battle.
Ryu: Then what's your answer?

Seiryu gets from his pocket a picture of his fiancée, the future Captain America, and then says to Ryu

Seiryu: There's nothing more important...

Then he puts Ryu's hands over Sakura's

Seiryu: ... than having the love of your life by your side. That's my answer and reason for victory.
Sakura: And what drives you right now?
Seiryu: Saving lives. Yours and thousands more
