You were my old obsession, you were once the only thing I could think about and you were once the only thing on my mind that gave me peace
It feels like we've been separated forever and you're just suddenly coming to my mind now
Oh how we've grown, oh how we've changed, and oh how I still remember the feeling you gave me
The long days but overcoming them because you were there and you helped
The sad nights but you were there as well
I remember one time thinking of you while staring at the ocean, you were a potion that I could never get enough of
As said before, we've changed and we've grown but in my heart you will still be my home
I once dreamed of you in my future and it was a genuine feeling because I believed it at the time
Youth is beautiful because we believe in things without worrying, we treasure things close to our hearts
But now all of this has changed, you passed on, you are now a shadow in my mind I think of time to time
The memories were good, and now you've passed onto another face into my hood of memories
It is only when I think of the old times I smile and remember you, I know I can't be with you it's true but I remember the old memories I do
Time to time I still think of you and now I wonder if you do too?

I don't really like talking about what my poems are about because I want them to resonate with whatever you think it is about, because this is the beauty of it, you make your own thoughts
