Damn, is this guy is quick on his proposals.

"I accept to that date." I said, trying to hide my embarrassment. Alas, I had failed, for he smirked at the sight of my flustered face. "How about we get some coffee?"

"I was thinking something like that. I have a place in mind, in fact." Oh thank goodness, it wasn't a fancy dinner date or anything like that. My anxiety was going through the roof just thinking about it.

Togami took a step back from me, his fingers tracing under my chin before he brought them back to his side as he turned away from me. "There's an excellent rooftop café just outside of town that I'll be willing to take you to."

It was almost odd, hearing him talking about coffee like how a food critic would talk about certain foods. Perhaps this was one of the parts of him that not many get to see? I've already unlocked his flirtatious side, so it would make sense.

"You're free tomorrow afternoon, right?"

"Yes."

"Great! See you then." I said, immediately toning myself down from the sudden enthusiasm, which had caused him to jerk his head back slightly from cringe. Wait, why was I excited to go on a date with this asshole?

Looks like my head decided to get myself some sense at the wrong time, I thought to myself before sitting down on one of the grey chairs.

Togami turned to the windows, adjusting his already perfect suit at the collar. "Oh, and please wear something at least decent. I don't need you to be an embarrassment."

"Oh, uhm... Okay." I said, before turning to my phone to take my mind of off things. Was I seriously going on my first date soon?

~

You better believe I went on a bit of an early shopping spree the day after.

Of course, I set a definite sum of money to the side for home and college, but the rest was earned from my admittedly semi-hard work and now on my card for shopping away.

Having my taste becoming newly expensive due to the luxury that Togami showed me made me somewhat anxious, but I'm living things in the now. If he ends up firing me, that on both of us.

Having bought some more gender-neutral office clothes, exotic [perfume/cologne/other] and a black, slick [tux/dress/other] for the future, I returned back for the morning and quickly got changed before leaving for the day.

Everything before the date was mostly a blur, with both Togami and myself busying ourselves with our work. As I squinted at my screen that glared in early afternoon light, I could only continue to think about that coffee date. Was is going to go bad? Was it going to go good? Who knows, Togami is about as predictable as a cat constantly on it's toes, and so is the world.

The elevator ride down was deseprately lonely, unlike the usual office workers fleeing in and out silently with only occasional small talk. I subconsciously flattened my shirt and fixed my hair, adjusting it in the reflexive walls of the vast elevator as my mind repeated the same words: first date, first date, first date.

No, more like "first date with the beautiful asshole.", I fixed my thought as the elevator doors opened with a soft ding! You don't deserve such a thing like this.

I was greeted by a limo as I stepped outside, so shiny I could see my reflection in it. An older woman in a dress shirt and skirt opened the door with a quick motion of her hand and a slight bow, and I was drawn to her like a magnet as I shuffled to the car and sat down hesitantly. Togami gave me a nod of greetings as I sat beside him.

"I didn't know you had personal drivers, how come I don't see them as much?" I whispered.

"I don't trust them with my more expensive vehicles, not after one of them crashed my car."

"Oh."

If Togami keeps taking me to these places, I might have to leave the company for my own mental health.

The café, called Nihon no hikari no kōhī, was just outside the city and near a park, with cherry blossom trees beginning to lose their leaves outside the window but still as beautiful as they were in spring. According to Togami, is was one of the most known places in Japan for coffee, but according to me it was horrifically overpriced. Even so, the area around it was breath taking - pale and basic yet magnificently sleek, with hints of bronze and gold everywhere. Large windows brought in natural sunlight that shined on the guests, each dressed as fancy as the last.

"Are you well?" Togami whispered from beside me. I nodded. "Just a little nervous, that's all. I'm still getting used to places like these."

"Well, you don't look too horrid, so you don't have to worry about that."

"Thanks...?" I said, quickly adjusting my posture and standing tall next to him even if I wasn't anywhere close to his height. We both ordered our coffee and seated ourselves on the second floor with our drinks in hand, near the window and with a small flower vase between us.

Even if Togami was one of the youngest and richest men in the world, I could sense his anxiety from a mile away. He kept tapping his glossy nails against the marble table, and stealing glances at me with his mesmerizing blue eyes, constantly shifting as he took a sip from his coffee.

"Well," I began, clearing the silence between us as I brought my coffee to my lips. It was like drinking liquid heaven - perfect temperature and all. "How often do you order from this place?"

"Quite often." He said, looking out the window. "It's my perfered place of ordering coffee, through this is my first time coming with somebody else."

"Makes sense, considering the employees here practically knew your order by heart."

"Yes, and it'd be foolish for them to not know." Of course he expected it all to be to his standards. I gulped knowing I needed to step up the game if I was going to get close to him.

We both stayed silent, awkwardly drinking on coffee. Wow, we were not good at first dates.

"You look nervous."

"Wow, thanks captain obvious." I said, bringing my coffee to my lips. "And why wouldn't I be? You're getting a few stares."

Togami looked to his side, his eyes being met with people immediately turning their looks away.

"It's not everyday you see the heir of the Togami conglomerate." I quietly scoffed playfully, covering a hand to my mouth. "Even if you live in the same city as him."

"Either that," he said quietly "they're in awe of you."

"Oh, shut!" I hissed back, flustered.

He smirked before he turned his tone back to serious. "In all seriousness, can't you feel that near us?"

"Huh?"

It wasn't until then that I realized he looked almost... Nervous, too. "Something more outlandish is watching us."

(I look pretty good for a dead b*tch.)
(Also, so yeah, I've definitely lost motivation onto this. Whoops.
Thus, I won't be updating this as much. My Danganronpa hyperfixation stopped and got replaced with Identity V, so I might release a fic on that? It feels almost taxing to write this. I'm sorry guys-)
(Have a good day besties.)
