I decided to wake up extra early this morning, even if my body protested for more sleep. I took a shower and wore some of my rather nicer clothes - a clean white dress shirt, black dress pants and dress shoes. The dress shirt was rather big on me, and the outfit wasn't very nice, but it worked. After grabbing a quick breakfast I quickly left for the morning.

I used the money Makoto gave me last night to return back to Togami's building. The morning itself was pretty uneventful - the sun could barely be seen from behind the buildings and the morning air held cold mist. Time seemed to become nothing, and before I knew it I was back in his office.

"To be honest, I'm quite surprised you came back. Most peasants are intimidated by my offers and simply never return.".

"Yeah yeah, I get it. I'm just some poor hooligan that can be herded like cattle." I said, rolling my eyes. "What's the first order of business?".

Togami slid a sheet of paper towards the edge of his desk. "Well, simply sign this first and we'll get started.". I took the paper and examined it, my (E/C) eyes shifting over the print. Looks legit enough, and I guess I made a commitment the moment I decided to leave the house. I took a pen from his desk - in which he tensed in response, probaby because a peasant was putting their disgusting hands on one of his fine pens - and signed it.

A smirk formed on his face, and for once I didn't want to smack it off. I was too busy internally panicking about how I just soul my soul to a rich, handsome dirtbag.

"(Y/N) (Y/L/N)." He muttered to himself as if trying to remember my name. He got up from his desk, carrying the paper I had signed and a stack of others before making his way to the door.

"You can start by organizing the files in the right drawer with the left ones. I have a few meetings to attend to, so I'll be leaving you with your own company.". Togami paused for a moment, turning around to look at me. "Oh, and be a dear next time and wear more appealing clothes. You look disgraceful.".

"I'll try to buy some once I can afford to spend money on my clothes rather than keeping myself from homelessness, sir." I sneered. He just turned back around, done with me. "Naegi!" He called, exiting out the door and disappearing from my view.

I was now officially left alone. My eyes followed to the huge windows portraying the city below. There seemed to be no need for the lights to be on - enough sunlight illuminated the office with the sun still rising to noon. In the end, I had decided to turn off the lights and work under the natural sunlight instead.

"Alright, if it's just the top two shelves, it can't be that much work. I'll be done in no time." I muttered to myself, opening the right one.

I was wrong. How can somebody have so many papers in the single drawer without any of them becoming crumpled?!

I sighed. This isn't so bad. At least I'm getting paid for this.

And thus I began to work. In all, there were easily a thousand papers that need to be organized. I had decided to stand rather than sit in his chair and face possible punishment, which caused a bit of a toll on my feet. Still, I wasn't taking any chances with this dirtbag.

I read through the names, my brain nearly melting at all the words it was processing. Kenji Fakuwa, Poppylan Wilkes, Sakura Injio... There's so many of them! What are all these papers for, anyways?

Just shut up and work, I mentally told myself. You're getting paid for this.

Nearly two hour has passed and I have only 350 paper organized out of a couple hundred. Makoto had decided to join me while on his break to try and help me out.
