random writing.

so i used to just start a story and just start randomly writing, but that gets really stressful! so i advise you not to do that and here's why!
(if u do this, im not saying it's bad! im just pointing out that it wasn't really worked out for me)

(1) at first you'll be really excited & write a LOT but then at one point you might realize that you don't know where the story is going
-this might discourage you to write
- you'll get writers block
- you'll get stressed out and not wanna finish the story
anymore

(2) the story might seem messy or "random"
- readers might be confused
- you'll lose readers interest cause there isn't really a plot
- it just doesn't make sense

(3) you might figure out how to end the story but realize a chapter you posted conflicts with your idea so now you can't do it
- makes it really hard to find a good ending
- your ending might be mediocre/plain

(4) you'll realize you need more/less characters than you anticipated
- have to add in the characters in the middle of the story instead of posting them all in the beginning
(isnt really a big deal cause not everyone introduces their characters in the beginning of the book)
(it is a common thing to do that in social media au's)
- have to find a way to kill of a character u don't want anymore which makes the story even more complicated/random

- anyways, it's not necessarily bad. a lot of people don't plan out their stories and their books come out as amazing!
for example, i had no plan when i wrote "tip jar". literally only planned the last three chapters cause i didn't know how i wanted to end it. however, every single chapter in the book was made up on the spot. i randomly wrote that book and it's still one of my best/popular books! sometimes it just works out lol!
