side note: having these apps doesn't automatically mean that your photos are gonna be perfect/nice!! don't rely on the apps, just use them to enhance your creativity. the best editors are so amazing, not because of their software. they're amazing cause of their creativity ✨

final cut pro x
— ok so this is the main app i use to edit all my trailers, but it's only on macbooks or mac apple computers.
— newer mac computers should have it downloaded for free, but if you have an older mac, the app is $300.
— very easy to use and super fun when you wanna get creative

prequel
— i don't rlly use this app for trailers, but i use it for my fancams or just other random edits
— has amazing effects & filters to make your videos pop out

inshot
— i used to use this app for editing when i didn't have a computer & it was pretty great & easy.
— it's fairly good for just being an iOS app & i like it so
— you can add music, backgrounds, text, filters, stickers
— you can cut, split, rotate, rewind, or freeze the video clips

giphy
— for anyone who read my very first au (which i deleted) you remember that i used to make gifs to go with each scene
— this app allowed you to take any video and create it as a gif

fcpx effects/filters
— for final cut pro, i also download a lot of effects & filters by a creator who makes them. it's a lot of the effects i use in my trailers so here is his page, where you can download all of his content.
