I hope this letter finds you well at your new station. How are you and your colleague doing? I hope they treat you well up there.

I also got your christmas and new years greetings when I met with your siblings for christmas. It was a shame that you could once more not be with us. Nonetheless I hope you will soon come back home.
Here is a lot going on, but I won't bother you with what is happening at work in a private letter.

Concerning myself, I am doing well. I had some time off during Christmas and new year. I enjoyed the time I got to spend with your siblings back in Stuttgart. Otherwise I mostly had a lot to do with work. The higher ups have seemingly big plans coming up. But nothing certain so far.
Stay safe and watch out for yourself and for your companion.

I am also supposed to greet you from Spee and my namesake. She was happy to hear from you as well and also politely sent her best wishes and Otto Wiedling also asked me to congratulate you on your birthday in my next message to you.
