my hands were clammy from the sudden transformation and the nervousness. of the whole situation
"so, what the hell just happened?" wilbur enquired, voice raised accusingly.
"waitt-" techno ignored wilbur's questions.
i hummed, and he smiled.
"are you a mermaid?" he joked, and i gave him my best glare.
"no!" i screeched
"i am a great white shark and i will bite you!" i yelled, wishing my shark teeth were still there so i could flash them and prove my point.
techno held his hands up in surrender, face still sporting that stupid, stupid grin.
phil spoke up, still looking kind of guilty.
"so uhh.. tubbo, how'd you know about it?"
me and tubbo made eye contact, i shrugged.
"hm.. well, i'm a stingray. i'm like, 3/4 human- so i can control the whole 'turning half fish thing'. tommy is 1/2 human, so he can't. that's why he was always a bore when we went anywhere water related." tubbo explained.
i elbowed him, and phil spoke up again.
"but, aren't you guys in water now? you're stepping in a puddle."
i looked down. sure enough, we were standing in a massive puddle.
"huh." i responded, leaving tubbo to the explanation.
"oh, we need to be fully in water." tubbo smiled, happy everything went relatively well.
"ohh.."
there was an awkward silence
"okay, but like-" wilbur exclaimed, "that was poggers."
i laughed, feeling relief wash away the nervousness still lingering in me.
"you know," tommy's mischievous grin appearing on his face. "this really mermaid my day."
"boo. that was terrible"
"SO YOU ARE A MERMAID!"
