Elijah groaned as the light peaking in through the windows filtered into his eyes. He lifted his head and immediately smiled to himself. Sam was on one side and Dean on the other. He was about to close his eyes again when he heard rustling downstairs. He checked the time quickly. 7:35 am. Huh, none of the boys should be up yet.

Elijah had called them all of out of school and work for the rest of the week. He quickly untangled himself from the two boys, smiling as he saw them unconsciously cuddle each other.

He quietly opened the door before walking out and closing it, wandering to where he heard the noise. He finally made it to the kitchen, seeing the twins and stiles there. The twins were sitting at bar stools while stiles busied himself with making breakfast. Elijah immediately frowned when he remembered stiles hadn't gone to sleep until 5, meaning he had only gotten about two hours of sleep.

The doe-eyed boy was flipping pancakes, making the twins laugh from the barstools at their brother while he pretended to almost drop them.

"Oh, morning 'Lijah." Peter said, shocking Elijah.

Peter was a very quiet kid, and usually just followed along with the pack. He desperately hoped Peter would gain some confidence and start speaking up more.

"Morning, Pete. Stiles, can I talk to you real quick?" The oldest asked.

"Yeah sure. Okay Zac, flip this when it starts to bubble, and be careful not to burn them. Peter, you're in charge." Stiles said with a wink at Peter, making him giggle.

The oldest walked into the living room, stiles following him.

"What's up 'Lij? Everything okay?"stiles asked, only to be pulled into a bone-crushing hug by his oldest brother.

"Sti, I'm so sorry." He said, pulling him tightly to his chest and fighting the lump in his throat.

"Elijah? What are you sorry for? What happened?" Stiles asked, immediately thinking the worst.

"I didn't even acknowledge you yesterday. I'm so so sorry stiles. I love you so much baby, and I know there's no excuse for what I did but I was just so worried about the boys-" Elijah began, only to be cut off by stiles pushing gently on his chest so he was looking him in the eyes.

"Lij, I know you had a lot on your plate. Trust me, I don't feel ignored. It's okay, I really didn't think of it quite honestly." Stiles said earnestly.

Elijah sighed in relief, wrapping his brother in one last hug before pulling back.

"Okay, now let's talk about last night." He began in a more authoritative tone.

Stiles immediately looked worried, "what about last night?" He asked quietly.

"I stayed up until you went to bed, Stiles. I could hear you up all night and you didn't even get in bed until 5. Buddy, you can't run on two hours of sleep. It's not healthy." Elijah said, crossing his arms over his broad chest.

"Oh... I know I just... I'm sorry Lij. I was gonna sleep in this morning but then the twins were up and I didn't want them to be up alone so I got up." Stiles explained, looking at the floor.

"Okay, well I want you upstairs and sleeping, okay? I'll come get you up when it's time for lunch but you need rest." Elijah said with a sigh.

What he wasn't expecting however, was for stiles to look so angry.
