Corrupted Lies

Chapter 4

I woke up to the floor greeting my face. After a bit of confusion I came to realize I was just floating in my sleep. I laughed at my own mistake stupidly. I walked downstairs in an extremely good mood maybe it was because my magic was working or because I've met someone of my own kind. When I got to the small kitchen my mood turned very solum I quickly became curious on the sad environment.
"What's going on?" I asked curiosity boiling inside of me
"Oberon and I have to explain something to you Faye." He tells me
"Caspian you may want to step outside for a moment." Oberon says
"No, whatever you have to tell me you can say in front of him, trust remember." I tell them
"Okay then...you have a sibling, four actually." Flynn says explains
"What?" I say shocked "Why didn't you tell me?"
"It was for your safety but due to recent circumstances we had to tell you." Flynn says
"What are there names?" I blurt out
"Peter is two years older, he's 20. He ran away when you were 12." Oberon tells me
"Nicholas is only a year older, he's 19. Shortly after Peter ran away Nicholas went to find him and never returned." Flynn continued
"Lastly the twins, Astrid and Luna, there 2 years younger I think they turned 16 shortly after you turned 18." Oberon says
"What happened to them." I asked
My mind was racing with questions at this point.
"Well...when they were 5 they produced some accidental magic within the barrier, the guards took them we don't know if they're alive or dead."Flynn continued
"Your mother took you outside the barrier soon after your sisters were taken, she erased your memories of them." Oberon said
"I need some fresh air I tell them." I say quickly
I run outside to my creek, I go there whenever somethings wrong. I couldn't believe this I had siblings and there all gone. My mother really erased my memories, I want to remember them. I heard footsteps behind me and got up quickly ready to attack.
"Woah Woah Woah, its just me Faye." Flynn says
"Oh, sorry I thought you were a guard." I say softly
"Do you know why we had to tell you that news young one." Flynn speak wisely
"Something must of happened to them we have to find them!" I say worried
"Now hold on, your brothers went to the dark side a few years back, there's no saving them they've done the spell." Flynn says
"W-what, I could have saved them if I remembered them." I say
"There is nothing you could have done, I did receive confirmation just now that your sisters are alive and were going to rescue them." Flynn says with confidence
"Really!" I practically jump up and run to my training area to start practicing
Everyone decided that we should leave tomorrow at dawn. The rest of the day consisted of packing and training, Caspian was already a natural at his magic so I had to practice harder to catch up to him. Soon dusk came and everyone headed inside to get a good nights sleep before the rescue mission. Like I have the past 18 years I put my hair into a loose ponytail and closed my eyes feeling nervous for tomorrow.
I opened my eyes the next morning feeling energetic I looked out the window, the sun wasn't even up, it was quiet. I quickly got dressed and headed downstairs with my bag. I wore a black shirt with a dark green jacket, I also had black boots and some black pants.
When I got into the kitchen Oberon, Flynn, and Caspian were already there. I grabbed some berries to eat and we headed outside, Flynn and Oberon grabbed some weapons but Caspian and I were already armed.
"This journey is going to take a day there and back, if you're not up for it leave...people may die." Flynn speaks solemnly
No one moved we just nodded. I adjusted my bag on my back and we started walking, we were only half an hour in when my feet started to hurt but I didn't complain I didn't want anyone to think I'm weak. I kept walking and once noon rolled around we stopped for a break. I grabbed out a sandwich that I made earlier and ate it with pure joy. After about a 10 minute break I got up ready to walk the next 5 hours. Both Caspian and I were warned that we were entering the barrier so we couldn't use magic.
I walked along side Caspian with Oberon and Flynn leading the group, Caspian and I talked a lot over the trip I think were becoming good friends It'll be nice to have more of those. We finally reached the kingdom at the end of the day then found a wooded area and sent up camp. I put my hair into my loose ponytail and closed my eyes.
