It had been exactly a day after everything went down with Marcus and Douglas and although not everything seemed to be normal but nothing was really normal anyway. Also the tension between Vera and Chase was there, of course it was going to still be there. They had just shared a meaningful moment between them but none of them had the courage to say something at least not yet.
It was killing Vera to not be able to express what she had felt at the time of the kiss but she knew Chase wasn't going to be the one to say something. Vera also didn't mention the moment she had with the brunette with anyone especially her best friend.
Of course she loved Leo and everything but he wasn't good about expressing emotions about Vera's crushes. She tried one day to say that she was going out with one of the captains of a sport team but Leo shut it down quick.
From that moment- she never mentioned anymore dates or crushes but it was pulling her so back that she needed to tell someone.
Donald told her to go to the lab so Sam and parker could officially meet him. she didn't oblige so that's what she was doing, "Hey, Donald. we are here." Vera said entering the lab as Donald was fixing an invention, he looks up towards Vera. Sam and Parker wowed at Donald's lab. "Cool lab—I know right." Donald laughs, "Oh, Donald, this is Parker and Sam. Guys, this is Donald." They all greeted each other.
"So you're a scientist?" Parker asked as Donald explained everything from how he started Davenport Industries and how Douglas was a part of it until he tried to turn the trio evil and was going to make them into soldiers. "So, can you help us?" Sam asked Donald as he nodded while going over to show them something on a tablet he was preparing.
