VERA had the tendency to believe that everything was fine when in reality none of the things that's she has been through were okay. On one hand, her parents had disappeared with no explanation and not knowing where they were. Primarily the other one was that's she was bionic as with her siblings and they literally were almost killed by some psychos. None of it was normal and sometimes made Vera wish her parents were there with her and her siblings.

Vera's bionics as Parker's and Sam's were still not functioning, it was a strange occurrence to say in the least for everyone. The only way you could stop having bionics is if the person who put them into you then would turn them off. The three of them didn't know who or what group of people chipped them but that would soon would be revealed in time.

As Vera could remember, the last time she saw her parents was the night they left for their job. Alexa Flores and Hector Flores, no one really knew what they did as a profession but they sure did make a lot of many. Since they were pretty much packed of money, none of this made sense.

The last time the Flores daughter had spoken to her parents had to be a long time even for her.

Vera had just woken up from her slumber, eyeing the alarm clock that was on the side of table, next to her full bed with the excessive amount of pillows scattered around her bed. Doing her usual routine before heading to Leo's house, she saw her mom in the large kitchen rushing to collect many items and shoving them into her carry on bag.

"Uh, mom?" Vera asked knitting her eyebrow forcing her eyes to narrow to see what her mom was doing exactly. Alexa turned around putting the bag to the side before giving her daughter a forced smile, "Hi, sweetheart. What's up?" Alexa asked gently.

"Whatcha you doing." Vera pursed her lips together in slight movement, wanting to see what she was doing with the items that were getting shoved in her bag. She seemed anxious about something but Vera couldn't put it together until her older brother walked into the kitchen.

Alexa shook her small head, "Nothing, Parker hurry up!" She shouted opening a cabinet that had some paper files about her children, Sam and Vera gave each other weary looks and Alexa couldn't even tell her children the truth or simply look at them straight in their eyes.

The next thing everyone knew, Hector came holding two bags in each hand looking up to see the boy and girl eyeing the medium size luggage. Sam took a chance to sit down, "What are you- Dad, what's going on?" Sam quickly changed his attention back before getting a nonchalant answer just completely ignoring their worried nature.
