I let out a deep sigh before facing her...
"So...how are you?" I asked Kate
It's been years at anglaki nang pinagbago nya,nila ni Lex... Dugo at pawis ang sinakripisyo nang mga magulang namin mabigyan lang kami nang magandang buhay,pero nang dahil lang sa mga sakim nawala lahat nang yun
"Fine...I guess"sagot nya,hindi pa din lumilingon sakin
"Kate I---" agad kaming natigilan nang lumabas na din si Doc. Agad kaming tumayo at sinalubong sya sa ibaba nang hagdan
"How is she?"I asked
"She's fine now..."nakahinga naman kami nang maluwag sa sagot nya "Let's just wait for her to recover and adopt the new memory" patuloy nya pa
"How long Doc?"I asked again,this time he let out a deep sigh. My body started to tremble in fear
"About a couple of hours...days or even weeks"sagot nya na ikinagulat namin

"Look Shawn,if my conclusion was right... maybe it's the part where she remembers everything about the massacre she witnessed herself,plus Bata pa sya nun diba? For a normal stage she will be traumatized,but then she had a temporary amnesia,plus pinainom pa sya nang gamot to prevent her from remembering any of that event, Which also pauses the possible hard times she supposed to experience. And technically sa sitwasyon nya ngayon lahat nang possible outcomes na naprevent dati ay nangyari ngayon, the exact moment na maalala nya lahat. A human brain needs time to absorb and adopt changes while handling one's emotion, kung matatag ang kapatid mo kahit na matrauma pa sya while having the effects of the medicine she intake years ago malalampasan nya to at magigising agad"paliwanag ni Doc
"What if she can't handle it?" Pangamba ko
"It's either she'll be comatose...or some her brain cells die or explode... which will also be a cause for her to die" sagot ni Doc,agad naman akong napahilamos sa kaba "Thought I'll still check that later,titignan ko din kung makakaapekto pa din ba ang gamot na iniinom nya dati"
" Is there any way to make her recover faster Doc?"I asked again
"So far...all we can do is to stay with her and let her feel that everything will be alright. She needs to face it all by herself" sagot uli ni Doc "Now if you'll excuse me,kukuha muna ako nang mga kagamitan sa ospital. I'll also bring a nurse to watch her until she wakes up"paalam ni Doc
Napalingon naman ako kay Kate na napaupo na sa sofa at patuloy lang sa pagiyak. Agad ko syang pinuntahan para pakalmahin
"Shh that's enough,walang maitutulong yan"comfort ko,pero patuloy pa din sya sa pag iyak
"It's all my fault... Hindi dapat mangyayari to if it wasn't for me. I forced her...I forced her to remember you" sagot nya na agad namang ikinakunot nang noo ko
"What do you mean?"
"Hindi ka nya kusang naalala...I told her everything about you...and me"sagot nya, napailing ako kasabay nang pamumuo nang galit
Kung tutuusin it's no one's fault, if it wasn't for that damn medicine! Hindi mangyayari to! Kung hinayaan lang sya nila Redge na makaalala!
Agad akong tumayo dala nang galit at dali daling lumabas,sakto namang pinigilan ako ni Kate
