in late December of 1959, John Lennon and his boyfriend Paul McCartney had been living together for two months. they had a 3-month-old daughter named Philippa and for only being 17 years old and 19 years old, they were already settled down in a Victorian-style home just outside of Liverpool. John's Aunt Mimi would make them pre-made meals since they were both crappy chiefs. so they totally content with their lives.
but on their way to pick up Philippa from the babysitters after a Christmas party and they were both pretty drunk. and when they were rounding a corner they hit a tree, sobering them up instantly.
John made it out with a few bruises and a broken finger. but Paul (the driver and the drunkest) had a severe spinal cord injury, a broken arm, and he also now had a horrible stutter.
Paul was now paralyzed.
