RHEA WALKED OUT of the Cram School and frowned slightly when rain began to fall hard on the earth. Taking her umbrella out of her bag, she opened it up and emerged into the cold and walked down the pathway toward the huge academy. Rhea saw some students running back to their dorms or inside nearby café's.

She could also see the spirits look up at the rain, disappointed they couldn't feel the cool liquid on their transparent bodies.

But what surprised Rhea the most was him.

Amaimon was standing in the rain alone, sucking on a lollipop like the last time she saw him. His unusually styled green hair was soaked along with his clothes. Rhea also noticed that Behemoth, his hobgoblin familiar, wasn't with him, either.

"Amaimon!" she called, causing his yellow eyes to turn to her. They flashed in surprise and he nodded at her as she approached.

When she caught up to him she leaned forward, regaining her breath. "W-what are you doing out in the rain? You'll get sick!"

"I'm a demon."

"I know. But even so... come on." Rhea ushered the demon king under her umbrella and he let her, puzzled and curious on her behaviour. She walked peacefully with him back to her own dorm. Rhea poked her head through the doors to see if the coast was clear, and when it was, she rushed Amaimon inside and into her room.

Her dorm room wasn't big. It had its own small kitchen, bed, lounging area, desk and a bathroom, but that was it. Rhea didn't have time to decorate it.

Rhea got a towel out and watched for a moment as Amaimon sniffed around the room. She giggled a little and sat on her bed. She called him over and the demon king hesitantly approached the human. Rhea made him sit on the floor, facing her, and she dried his hair with the towel along with his face.

"You should probably get out of those wet clothes," she suggested.

Amaimon cocked his head to the side. "Then what would I wear?"

Rhea blushed furiously and stammered. "I-I didn't r-really think of that, actually. I might have something big enough for you in my closet." She got up but Amaimon grabbed her wrist. "No, it's fine. I will be going, now."

Rhea, for some reason, seemed to panic at the thought of him leaving. She didn't know why. But she suddenly pictured herself waiting many days, maybe even weeks, for him to come back. If he ever decided to come back.

As he stood up and began to walk away, she lunged forward and grabbed his damp, brown jacket. "Please?" she asked in a mumble.

The demon seemed to shiver at her words, though she might have imagined it. Amaimon spun around and picked her up bridle-style, carrying her to the couch a couple steps away and dropped her onto it.

Rhea watched carefully as Amaimon took off his jacket and hung it on a kitchen stool. Was he going to...?

But she flushed at those thoughts, because he wasn't. He had sat on the couch beside her and stared at her intensely.

Rhea almost felt uncomfortable under his yellow gaze.

"Why haven't I seen you in ages?" The question seemed to force its way out, and her mismatched eyes widened at her forward question she had just asked.

Amaimon shrugged. "My brother had things for me to do for him."

"Oh."

Demon king things... she thought. Wonder what it could be?

Rhea grabbed the remote from the coffee table and turned on the television. "We should download Netflix on here," she said and he looked confused. "What's that?"

"Are you serious?"

Rhea then began to explain what Netflix was to Amaimon, and when he got it, they began to download it on the television.

By the end of the day, it finally was ready and set up. They chose to watch the Conjuring and during the whole movie, Rhea was anxious and alert. Amaimon just dug his hand into the caramel popcorn bowl and ate the sweet treat.

As the credits rolled at the end of the movie, both were asleep together, wrapped in a thin blanket with an empty bowl between them. Rhea and Amaimon let out faint snores as they rested against each other, feeling warm and satisfied.
