THEY MADE IT to the Cram School and entered the home room where everyone was already seated, though Yukio hadn't started to speak, yet. He looked at her and eyed the jacket she wore for a moment before nodding. "You're right on time, Ms. Idungaea. Please, sit down."
Rhea nodded and sat down behind Rin and Shiemi, where she usually sat these days. She got her artbook out of her bag to draw in as Yukio spoke. Amaimon poked his head out of her pocket and watched her sketch a picture of True Cross Academy.
"Summer Break is almost here," Yukio announced. "Which means the Exwires Certification Exam is coming up."
Rin went from excited to groaning, immediately. Everyone ignored him as Yukio continued. "Exwires undergo special battle training so the exam won't be easy. So, next week we will hold an intensive study camp."
"Study exam?" Rhea asked herself, though nobody but Amaimon heard her and he shrugged.
Yukio began passing pieces of paper around. "Circle whether you wish to participate and fill in your desired meister by Monday."
"Meister? What's that?" Rhea asked Amaimon who stopped eating some candy, surprisingly.
"A Meister is a skill qualification necessary for becoming an exorcist. There are five types and they are written on your page. You have to achieve at least one to become an exorcist. Though, from my experience, each Meister fights a different way."
"How do you know this?" Rhea immediately regretted the question, the answer was very obvious.
Amaimon didn't seem to mind, though. "I've been fighting exorcists or fighting for them for my brother's sake for over a thousand years."
Rhea sputtered at his age. "You're an old man!"
Amaimon glared at her for a moment before continuing to chow down on his lollipop.
Rin then came over with a smile, Shiemi at his side. "Hey, Rhea! What Meister are you gonna be?"
Rhea looked down at the paper. "I think I'll attempt tamer, it sounds cool. But I think I can do doctor, too. I like helping people and I know enough about healing herbs."
"That's the same with me!" Shiemi squeaked.
"Cool!"
Rin smiled at both his friends. "I'm gonna be a knight."
Rhea nodded. "Then you can try out that sword you always have behind your back."
Rin seemed to be nervous now. "Y-yeah."
Rhea didn't notice his sudden change of behaviour and turned back to her drawing. The two other Pages walked out of the classroom before the bell rang, and everyone else packed up their things before following them.
Amaimon climbed back into the pocket with his candy and Rhea put her things in her bag before taking off to her next class.
