Like I had thought I hadn't seen jamell since that day and it had been alot longer. No it wasn't a weekend or a few days it had been a whole month and a half. Everything had been quiet no news no sights of him nothing and life was going back to normal. Kids would spill into the park after school along side the teens who would play basketball. The old folks would go back to there normal walks. My mom wasnt so scared of leaving me alone and me and my friends were back on the streets. The most important part was the senior trip was coming up and I was finna become a hoe no cap.

   The bell rung and we walked out of the school laughing " i swear to god if you sleep in and miss the bus tommorow I'm gonna be so mad" kentrell said

Tay rolled his eyes " a nigga need to sleep okay" he said

I laughed shaking my head " for what? You always look tired and you still aint growing. You been like that since freshman year" I said as we walked down the side walk

Kentrell laughed as tay glared at him "dont look at me like that. I love how small you are bae" he said

Tay smiled " i know" he said leaning up to kiss him

I take gagged shaking my head " gross. i gotta go but imma see yall tommorow ight" i said walking off

I could hear tay yelling bye I shook my head smiling taking out my phone seeing texts from kobe. I smiled starting to text back while walking in the detection of my house.

Kobe🤤: wya ma.

Me: boy bye. Im going home

Kobe🤤: yhu tryna sneek in my cabin trm nite doe?

Me: ight bet. Also dose it feel weird that were going to some old ass summer camp for a trip

Kobe🤤: imma protect ya ma dont worry

I heard the all to familar sound of something in the woods. I put my phone in my pocket shaking my head I was deffently just imagining it. Untill i heard someone walk out of the woods without hesitation i took off running as they ran after me. I ran all the way home untill i made it to the door turning around and there was no one there. I took a deep breath before walking into my house.

  My mom was in the kitchen " hey sweetie someone called" she said

I looked up " did they leave a name" i asked

She shook her head " no but he said you guys were friends." She said walking out of the kitchen,

as soon as she saw me she frowned " are you alright? You look sick" she said

I shook my head i deffently wasnt fine i wasnt even more stressed now " im okay i think i just need to sleep it off" i said

My mom looked at me concerned " do you want me to make you a plate for later" she asked

I shook my head trying to make my way up the stairs. I eventually did and walked into my room closing the door, i walked to the bed laying down and as soon as I hit the pillow i was out like a light and i didn't wake up untill my alarm went off the next morning.

  I sat up looking over at the alarm clock confused on how i slept so long " the fuck?" I said confused

I shook my head standing up and went a got dressed. I grabbed my stuff and went downstairs getting in. My mom came out a few minutes later and got in starting the car. She drove me to school and I hugged her goodbye grabbing the bag i packed and hurried on the bus. I walked to the back to the seat that had room for three and sat next to kentrell and tay.

  Tay looked up from his phone " you didnt answer any of my texts" he said

I shrugged " as soon as i got home I put it on the charger and fell asleep" i said

Kentrell looked at me weird " you didnt seem tired when we left school" he said

I nodded " thats what I thought but I guess I was" i said pulling my phone out of my pocket and putting it on the portable charger my mom got me

I looked up a few seats seeing kobe and his friend slim looking at me. I smiled but then i remebered yestereday and my head filled with memorys of jamell. I shook my head looking away starting out the window, the bus satrted and we satrted the drive it had only been a few minutes before something started moving in the woods. I gasped jumping back as they both looked at me weird. This was gonna be a long trip.
