"So then! Its decided, my family will send over the yen by Saturday" amami smiled tilting his crown. He wore a suit similar to shuichi's usual clothes but in greens and browns with green jewels on his crown. They were curently sitting on a benchin the Shirogane castle's royal gardens, wich was fairly close to the adventure kingdom.
"R-right! Thats that then.." shuichi awkwardly mumbled "saihara-kun there is a different matter i wanted to talk with you about"
"Hm?"
Shuichi was confused but let amami speak "you see...i um..ive been seeing kaede-san lately and i uh..." amami trailed off and awkwardly chuckled "i have developed feelings for her" he finally spat out. Shuichi didnt know what to do or say.
He dindt like kaede that way, he loved ouma but..he had to act like he didnt. Wouldn't that just make extra unnecessary drama? He really didnt mind who kaede ended up with but he couldn't just say that! Too many people already know..and sure they were supportive but he didnt know how to handle this what if amami told his parents? What if he- "saihara-kun are you alright? You've been spaced out for two minutes"
Amami tilted his head "i understand this is a lot to take in and it may seem petty of me..she is your girlfriend and first in line so i understand why you're upset-" "i-I'm not upset-wait l-let me refrase that... i dont really care-no ah..." shuichi fumbled tugging at his sleeves as he looked down at the grass "u-um what were your expecting me top say?" He looked up straightening his jacket "w-well...I'm not sure what i expected, you're known to be a kind prince i suppose i just though it's better if everything is on the table" amami stated unsure of his choice, shuichi sighed and looked at his knees letting hair cover his face
"L-listen I'm all for free choice, I'm all for going after who you love b-but as of now i cant really oppose to the marriage, as much as I'd like to its not in my hands at the moment" he nervously fiddled with the details on his sleeve "you're opposed to the marriage?" Shuichi gulped
Great! Of all times anxiety had to act up right now
"W-well k-kaede-san dosent k-know but she c-clearly sees me as a f-friend and so do i..i suppose when i become king ill find my own partner and kaede-san can be with whoever she'd like" shuichis smiled blushing at the though of ruling with ouma "you have someone in mind dont you" amami calmly stated "i-i g-guess you could say that.." "you're a good guy I'm sure. They like you" "yeah...sure"

"Yeah right! I hope hes fine...He's awkward" Tsumugi giggled kokichi nodded in agreement and giggled a bit himself "he really is-"
"TSUMUGI" speak of the devil and he shall come "A-AMA- oh..he k-kichi" "hiya sai-chan?" Kokichi smiled feeling confused at shuichis sudden barging "i-i will tell you later..." shuichi nodded at Tsumugi "mhm! How'd the meeting go?" Tsumugi asked not looking up from her fabric "it was eventful...can i see the designs?" Tsumugi nodded and handed shuichi the concept page "w-wow! They look great, kichi's design really suits him" shuichi smiled
"Dosent it! I love love love it! And now me and mugi-chan are friends!" Shuichi smiled "thats great...erm anyway um kichi we have to leave at sundown today so we have a while its...1 pm we'll leave at 6" shuichi smiled patting kokichi's head. Kokichi giggled and looked up "O-Kay!"

"Bye mugi-chan! See you at the ball" kokichi ran and hugged tsumugi before walking back to shuichi "thank you so much for the suits" he signaled to the fancy boxes in their carriage and smiled "no problem at all! Anything for a friend! Ill see you both at the ball bye!"
Shuichi waved and helped Kokichi up on the carriage.

Kokichi's head rested on shuichi's chest. Shuichi hugged Kokichi close resting his head on top of the smaller boy's. Both sleeping soundly as the carriage bounced and moved along the dirt path until eventually they reached hope's peak
