The three of you sit outside on a bench, below the sitting room window. Gazing over the fields that wash over the back of the property. A canvas of green, then yellow. Although you couldn't quite see the yellow, fog cascading over the horizon. Its brightness was felt, however.

You were sat in the middle of your two friends, and you could practically feel Hermione vibrating with unanswered questions.

"Hermione, ask your questions." You sighed. Not annoyed, just a bit cautious as you didn't know what areas those questions would cover.

"Okay," she says, turning her body to face you. "Why were you sleeping downstairs? Was I snoring?" the second question caused a laugh to slip through your closed lips. That wasn't the direction you were thinking it was going in.

"'Mione, it wasn't you, I went downstairs and I was going to get water." Her face scrunched in confusion, and then Ginny's voice came over your shoulder.

"What? You went to get water and then you slept downstairs? What, were you too tired to go back up?" confusion emanating from her tone.

Here was the dilemma for you; did you tell them about what you had overheard, everything that you had heard, or did you just keep it to yourself? Usually, you would cover it within, not tell a soul because you could deal with it yourself. But this time you weren't so sure, every time you spoke to Fred, everything became more tangled than it already was. Despite you thinking it couldn't get more bewildering. Looking to the future for the two of you, it was looking as if it was just going to get more muddied, worse and unpredictable, maybe having two girls beside you when you potentially cut the string or tried to untangle it, would be good. Moral support. It's not like you didn't need it.

It was obvious they were getting impatient, so you told them.

"last night I wanted a drink, so I went downstairs when you both were asleep. When I got to the kitchen, I heard voices and it sounded like they were arguing," at this you had them hooked. Ginny seemed shocked, her expression changing rapidly, trying to solve the mystery before you explained, Hermione on the other hand was patient, waiting for you to keep going. "I stood outside the door for a minute before I realised it was Fred and George. They were arguing about me."

"Merlin!" Ginny exclaimed.

Hermione was putting pieces together, "It was about yesterday after the match wasn't it."

"Yeah basically."

"Don't tell me my stupid brothers were arguing over you, because Fred was jealous." Ginny mused.

"Exactly." You responded. At this divulgence Ginny just laughed, Hermione spluttered, disbelief taking over her. You couldn't blame them, it was shocking, it was stupid.

For the next 20 minutes, the three of you talked about the new news and talking about how to handle the situation that was sure to come. It was shocking to you how easily you told the girls about what had happened. Generally, no one was able to get information out of you, you were the best secret keeper. But you told them everything, even about how you think Fred was crying. Tired from having no one you really talked to about these things, it was nice to change it. Letting them in was relieving, a weight was lifted off your shoulders. You trusted them and were grateful for them, and you told them so.

Just as you were finishing discussing the consequences of hearing them last night, all of your mugs of tea empty and cold, Harry walked out to the three of you, announcing in a gravelly voice that breakfast was ready. The other two walked in slightly ahead of you and Harry which gave him enough time to check on you.
