after going to their rooms they laid down in their beds sitting up for a while just talking and making jokes

Kobe: i love you baby
Y: aww i love you too why'd you say it now though
Kobe: i'll just never know when the last time i'll be able to say it to you

y/n sat up in the bed and kobe sat up also then she looked at him grabbing his hands

Y: what makes you say that now
Kobe: after i was tased it just showed me that no one is promised tomorrow and that at that moment i could've died and it would've been the last time you saw me i would've felt like it was all my fault that it was happening and i never got to right my wrongs
Y: don't talk like that first off it wouldn't have been your fault and no matter what happened i wouldn't have left your side for not even a second and you fixed everything you had to and i love you for that
Kobe: it's just sometimes i still feel like i have a burden being held over me of mistakes i made
Y: you're the only one holding a burden over your head baby i dropped it it's over to me you can't rewrite the past it's already been made all you can do is write the future and make sure it's perfect in your own way
Kobe: so you'll do it with me write the future and be by my side the whole time
Y: of course as long as you're there with me every step of the way then i'll always be right by your side
Kobe: i love you so very much
Y: and i love you even more kobe morris

y/n grabbed both sides of kobe's face and gently kissed him then wrapped her arms around his back hugging him and he hugged her back tighter resting his head on her shoulder

Y: it's ok baby everything's gonna be ok
Kobe: i just don't want to lose you
Y: and you're not going to we're gonna fight until the very end together i promise i'm not going to let anything happen to you
Kobe: aren't i suppose to tell you that
Y: don't you tell me it because you love me
Kobe: yes of course babe
Y: and that's why i told you because i love you ten times more
Kobe: you deserve more than the world my love
Y: i already have more than the world because i have you

kobe pulled apart from the hug and kissed y/n then she kissed him back and he laid flat on his back and y/n stayed sitting on top of him and kissing him after a while they were making out then y/n sat up and as soon as she was about to take off her top there was a knock on the door so she kissed kobe one more time then got up walking to the door and opening it then she froze

Kobe: what's wrong baby who's there
Y: no one
Kobe: what do you mean
Y: no ones here there was a knock on the door but no body is out here

kobe got up walking to the door and looking for whoever knocked then he just gently pushed y/n back and closed the door and locking it they were standing next to the door talking for a while then kobe heard something so he grabbed y/n pulling her to him and a second after a gunshot fired through the door directly where she was standing previously after it fired she clung on to kobe breathing heavily while he held the back of her head and rubbed her back

Kobe: are you ok baby
Y: i'm fine what was that
Kobe: i don't know
Y: how'd you hear it
Kobe: while you were talking i zoned out a little and i heard it
Y: thank you i love you so so much
Kobe: of course but i think it's best if we go right now
Y: ok i'll tell the others

y/n walked off calling the others and kobe got their things together soon everyone was in the cars again driving off while they were in the car y/n leaned her head on the window seal but kobe gently grabbed her chin and laid her head on his shoulder while he continued driving

Kobe: what's on your mind
Y: none much just wondering who would want me dead
Kobe: don't think about that right now they could've been after me you never know but even then we can figure that out later don't stress yourself out over it
Y: how not when someone just tried to kill me
Kobe: they tried but they didn't that should be a blessing in its self
Y: you're right i guess
Kobe: babe
Y: huh
Kobe: i'm always right
Y: shut up you nerd

kobe smiled to himself then he kissed y/ns head and continued driving and humming music soon they were in a secluded part like they always were on the way back when y/n look in the review mirror

Y: baby maybe it's just me but i think that car is following us
Kobe: shit
Y: what's wrong
Kobe: it's a cop car
Y: ok then pull over
Kobe: babe what cop would follow us and not put on their lights
Y: i don't know but we should still pull over
Kobe: babe no the car doesn't even have its lights on
Y: then what should we do
Kobe: try and lose them
Y: and what after that
Kobe: i don't know but stopping and pulling over is not an option at all
Y: i'm scared
Kobe: we're gonna be fine it's ok
Y: do you think it's the cop from the hospital
Kobe: i don't know but i'm hoping we don't find out
