- A Sunfish has a bullet like shape because of its back fin. They are born with a back fin that doesn't grow at all. The back fin folds into itself as the Sunfish matures, creating a rounded rudder called a clavus.
- Mola in Latin means "millstone".
- They can be spotted in temperature and tropical islands all over the world.
- Sunfish can't fully close their mouths.
- Sunfish can get tons of skin parasites. When they do they sometimes let small fish or birds eat their skin parasites.
- Sunfish are harmless to humans but are really curious and they will often approach divers.
-  Their five different types of Ocean Sunfish : Ocean Sunfish, Sharptail Mola, Southern Sunfish, Slender Fish.
- Sunfish can lay up all the way up to 300,000,000 eggs in one time.
