Chapter 2: I just look at you

Jo Yuri's POV

"So you've finally decided to move on, huh?" I teased Hitomi, recalling how she expressed her desire to move on from Chaewon unnie not long ago.

"S-shut up," she retorted, glaring at me. "At least I get noticed, unlike you and your duck."I blushed, lowering my head and hugging my knees closer to my chest. Hitomi looked at me with concern and slid in a side hug.

"I'm sorry, Yuri-chan. You know I was teasing you, right?" she offered me an apologetic smile, her mochi cheeks puffing up. No wonder Nako likes you, Hii-chan. If only you knew how much she liked you, maybe you could move on from Chaewon unnie.

"Guys, we should play truth or dare," Yujin said, capturing our attention.

"Yeah, yeah! We should add a twist to it," Yena said, raising her hand like an excited elementary student. There she goes again—always the center of attention. 

I rolled my eyes but couldn't hold back a small grin. Does she have to be this adorable and annoying all at once?

"You better not say—"

"Soju! Soju!" Yujin interrupted Eunbi unnie. "The person who doesn't want to do the dare or tell the truth has to drink a shot of soju!" Yujin declared excitedly, only to get hit on the head by Eunbi unnie.

"Yah! Most of you are minors! We might make a mess of Chaewon's living room," Eunbi unnie protested while Yujin sulked beside Wonyoung.

"It's alright; I mean, teach them young," Chaeyeon unnie said, shocking everyone with her unexpected comment. Eunbi unnie looked utterly betrayed by her fellow mom. "But what about the living—"

"We can go to my bedroom," Chaewon unnie suggested, giving Eunbi unnie her best puppy eyes, fully aware of how much Eunbi spoiled her like a little sister.

"Fine..." Eunbi unnie finally relented, and the two jumped up, bouncing around the room before racing to Chaewon unnie's room. Chaewon unnie had prepared lots of food for us to bring along with the soju. Wonyoung and Yujin, unfortunately, received carbonated drinks instead, and for some unknown reason, Eunbi unnie chose Sprite over soju for herself.
