Kim Minju's POV

"Unnie, where are we going in such a hurry?"

"Because Grandpa decided not to tell us he's letting his little tiger marry that Bae kid," Jisoo unnie said, rushing as she jogged and dragged my arm toward Kim Group.

"You mean even though Tomi and Chaewon unnie are dating, Grandpa would still make her marry Jinyoung oppa?" I asked in shock. I couldn't wrap my head around it. First of all, both of them are gay; second, they're dating other people. Also, I only call him Grandpa because Jisoo unnie does.

"You know that old man doesn't care at all," Jisoo unnie stopped running as we arrived in front of Kim Group's entrance. Her expression was serious. "But he does care if you're the one Chaewon is marrying."

"W-what?!" I retracted my hand and took a step back at her words, feeling a storm of confusion and emotion swirling inside me.

"Grandpa wants an heir now; however, he's willing to wait if you and Chaewon get married." My heart raced; did she really just say that? Part of me felt a rush of excitement at the prospect of being with Chaewon, maybe because I still had feelings for her. But another part of me felt guilty—what about Hitomi? They were dating, and I didn't want to be a homewrecker.

"Unnie, I-I don't know what you want me to do..." I sat on a bench in front of the building, feeling the weight of the situation crash over me. Jisoo unnie sighed when she saw me break down, covering my face with both my palms.

"Minguri, do you remember when I was engaged to Jennie unnie?" she asked, sitting beside me and rubbing my back to comfort me little by little.

"Ye-yeah," I chuckled weakly, the thought bittersweet. "You both were best friends but liked Rosé unnie."

"HAHAHAHAHAHA, yeah..." she wiped a tear from her eye after laughing, but then her expression turned sad. "But Rosé's gone now..."

I immediately stood up in shock. "U-unnie, you mean Rosé unnie is... passed away?" I covered my mouth, overwhelmed. That wasn't a possibility I wanted to entertain.

"No, you pabo," she laughed so hard she fell to the floor, rolling around and lightening the mood, just like she always did. Sometimes, I seriously wondered how we were related and if this was South Korea's Best Actress.

"Are you done?" I said sarcastically, offering my hand to her, grateful for her ability to brighten the moment.

"But Rosé's gone back to Melbourne for a while to visit her family," she said, dusting herself off.

"You two still going strong?" I asked, genuinely happy for her and Jennie. Their relationship seemed solid, and I admired their bond, especially knowing what they'd gone through.

"Yeah, we are," she smiled as she held my arm and walked toward the building, "Nini and I have no bad blood about it because she realized she loved Lisa all along."

"That's great to hear, but won't Chaewon be with Grandpa right now?" My mind flickered back to the arrangement.

"So what?" Jisoo unnie said, and I glared a little, feeling a mix of frustration and uncertainty about my feelings for Chaewon. "We both know you still like her, and you only had a petty crush on Yujin."

I blushed because it was true. I hadn't been subtle at all, even when trying to convince myself otherwise.

"Look, you may fool everyone else, but you can't fool me," Jisoo unnie said coolly, "I'm your sister, and I taught you how to act, so whatever you're hiding, unnie always knows." Her words pierced through my conflict.
