I woke up to durk shaking me and loud noises from down the stairs. I sat up opening my room door realising it was my mom drunk as hell walking up the stairs. I couldn't hide durk before she was pushing passed me.
She looked over at him smirking "is this your friend" she ask stumbling over to him
I quickly ran in front of him " mom stop" i said
My mom rolled her eyes slapping me " I'm your mother you can't tell me what to do" she said
I could feel durk start to get angry mostly beacuse he was holding onto my arm " calm down" i said
My mom laughed " oh is this your little boyfriend" she asked as durk satrted to look at her weirdly
All of a sudden my mom was holding her head and screaming for something to stop " stop! You little freak how are you doing that" she yelled
I shook my head " no ma..Come on" i said grabbing her hand i eventually got her out of the room and she stopped screaming
I got her down the stairs to the couch and layed her down she fell asleep almost imeadly. I checked her pulse making sure it was normal. Then i ran up the stairs
I walked into the room " why did you do that?! Whats wrong with you!" I yelled
Durk stood up leaning against the wall " durk didnt mean to. She hurt von and durk wanted to help" he said
I rolled my eyes grabbing his arm and pulled him down the stairs. I pulled him out of the house and down the street. He kept talking and talking but I didnt say one thing. I dragged him all the way to herbs house and knocked on the door
Herb opened the door " man why are you banging on the door so early" he asked
I sighed " is your mom here" i asked trying not to look at durk
Herb shook his head " hasn't been since last week" he said
I nodded " my mom found durk but she was drunk and i really need time to figure this out and i need you to take him for a while" i said
Herb nodded " okay man. I'll watch him but you'll be back right" he asked
I nodded " as soon as i know its all blown over" i said
Herb nodded " come on durk imma show you to your room" he said
Durk walked into the house but turned around looking at me like he was about to cry "von..?" He said
I took a deep breath before shaking my head closing the door behind him. I walked down the steps and went back to my house i walked i seeing my mom was still asleep. So i ran up the stairs not trying to talk to her just yet. I wanted to sleep before the head ache i was sure I would have once she woke up. I needed a way to get durk home cause as i knew now durk wasnt fit for here no matter how much i wanted him to be.
