It had been weeks since von left durk and he haven't gotten a call. It wouldn't have been that bad if durk wasnt completely out of it.I walked back into my room closing the door seeing durk still laying there. I walked over to him seeing he looked sick honestly
I picked up his hands seeing durks nails were completely clear. I felt his head quickly pulling away at the heat i started shaking him "durk. Durk wake up" i said
Durks eyes slowly fluttered open " von?" He asked
I sighed shaking my head " what dose clear mean on your nails" i asked
Durk quickly looked down at his hand like he was about to cry " von" he mumbled before his eyes closed once again
I tried shaking him back awake but his eyes didn't open. Panic set in as i quickly checked his pulse, it was there so i quickly grabbed my phone calling von.
It rung a few times before von answered " why are you calling so early?" He asked
I quickly looked up " durks-" i tried to say but he quickly interrupted
Von groaned "what did durk do now? Look i don't have time for this, i told you i needed time" he said
I rolled my eyes " alright von, be a fucking asshole and take all the time you need but I'm not sure durk will be here when your done" i said hanging up the phone

Dayvon
As soon as he said that i froze, the phone dropped from my hand and i quickly stood up putting my shoes on. I ran down the stairs and out the door straight passed my mom. I didn't close the door just took off running down the street. As i got to herbs house i knocked on the door getting no answer. I started to get impatient and walked into his house running up the stairs.
I walked into his room seeing durk laying on the bed i walked over sitting next to him "durk" i said getting no answer
Herb sighed getting up " he woke up once kept calling out your name then went right back. I don't know what to do.. Hes sick, not a normal kinda sick either"he said
I put my hand against his forehead and it almost imeadly started burning I quickly pulled my hand away confused. I felt like crying honestly, i hadn't seen durk in weeks and now i can't even see his creepy but adorable ass eyes.
I leaned down kissing durks forehead seeing if i could get a reaction. His eyes slowly fluttered open and he smiled realising who i was " von" he said going to hug me but couldn't
I shook my head smiling " dont move okay. I'll go get you some water" i said
Durk shook his head " please don't go again" he said
I sighed looking over at herb who just nodded walking out of the room " i missed you durk" i said
Durk smiled looking up at me " durk dosent feel so good" he mumbled
I nodded my head " i know but your gonna be okay. I promise." I said
Dirk shrugged " dont think so"he said showing me his nails
I looked at them for a second " what dose it mean?" He asked
Durk looked like he was about to cry " emotions fade. Durk fade too" he said
I looked up at him grabbing his hand as i shook my hand " your gonna be fine" i said kissing the back of his hand
I watched as his nails turned a faint pink but they faded back to clear making me sigh.
Herb came back into the room handing durk the water. He took a sip before setting it down " we go home?" He asked
I nodded " yeah but where gonna stay here for a few hours okay" i said
Durk looked at me " are you gonna stay?" He asked as i nodded
Herb geustered for me to follow him, i slowly let go of a durks hand following her. I closed the door and turned to a smiling herb.
I looked at him confused " what? Why are you smiling?" I asked
Herb shrugged " nothing. It just seems like you dropped everything to be here.. Seems like you like him" he said smugly
I looked down rubbing the back of my neck " yeah, i think that's why i decided to stay away longer then i intended" i said
Herb nodded undetstandingly " im happy for you. Now go before he cries again" he said
I smiled shaking my head walking back into the room i closed the door catching the attention of durk.
Durk looked up half smiling " durk tired. Lay with me again?" He asked
I looked at him for a second before nodding " yeah" i said walking over to the bed laying down next to him
I layed there playing with his hair as he tried to fall asleep, i didn't plan on sleeping cause i wanted to make sure he was okay. We would be leaving once my mom went to work anyway and that would be soon.
