"Screw him." (F/n) shrugged as she guided you towards your shared apartment number. "He's an ass."

"You said you thought he was amazing last week." You muttered.

"Now he's an ass."

"Because we broke up?"

"Yep."

You tried to be annoyed but you just couldn't and smiled weakly. "You truly are a great best friend."

(F/n) ran a hand through her hair in a proud way and shot you a wink. "I try not to brag."

You snorted and tried to sit on the couch backwards, missing it completely and ending up as a pile of groans on the floor as (f/n) laughed hysterically.

"Beautiful." She told you. "The epitome of grace."

You flipped her off and decided to just lean against the couch instead. Then (f/n) decided to reach into her bag and withdrew a DVD box. She tossed it over to you and you glared at it before realising what it was.

"You got me phase two?" You asked in surprise.

"Yep. It looked incredibly odd to have phase one and three so I decided I might as well get that one." (F/n) then pulled a face in thought. "The guy who sold it to me was seriously dodgy but hopefully there isn't a bomb in there, eh?"

A breath of laughter escaped your lips as you opened the collection and found all the Marvel films of phase two neatly placed in order.

"So, what are we watching first?" (F/n) asked as she grabbed the remote and switched the TV to a DVD setting.

"Age of Ultron?" You automatically said, knowing it was her favourite.

Your best friend raised a brow. "Why?"

"Because you got me a gift so its only fair to watch your favourite MCU film first."

"No argument from me." (F/n) shrugged as you got the disc and slid it into the slot on the TV. "The twins are hot."

Soon you were sat in front of (f/n) as she played with your hair and the Marvel theme music started to play. You were both smiling widely when the last thing you would have ever expected happened.

A red and white flash suddenly engulfed the room and you fell to the floor.

-

"Is she dead?"

"Yes, that's why she's moving."

"Hey, I just asked a question."

"A stupid one."

"Guys, please. Let's just wait for her to wake up and then we'll sort this out and find out where she came from."

"My lab's ceiling."

"We'll fix it, Stark."

"Yeah, you better."

A small whimper left your body as you started to open your eyes. Everything seemed to be magnified. The lights, the volume, and not to mention you felt like someone had split your skull in two.

"(F/n)?" You asked in a scratchy voice.

"Who the hell is (f/n)?" A voice questioned.

You finally got your vision back and when you realised who was watching over you, your mind figuratively exploded. In fact, you were so startled you backed into the wall with a harsh thud that made you wince.

"Easy." Steve Rogers said in a gentle voice as he reached out to you. "You're okay."

"My lab isn't." Tony Stark then muttered in annoyance.

"Can it, Stark." Natasha said next.

The actual Avengers were standing in front of you with varying expressions.

Steve looked concerned, Tony was evidently annoyed, Bruce seemed curious, Clint and Natasha didn't seem too bothered, and Thor was watching you with intrigue.

"Where's (f/n)?" You asked, not knowing where to stare.

"Who's that?" Steve asked you in return.

Captain fucking America is talking to me! You screamed in your head. However, your voice, although a bit shaky, sounded strangely calm. "My best friend. She was with me when..."

"When what?"

"I don't know." You shook your head as if that would help you remember. "We were watching a Marvel movie and there was a bright light. That's all I know."

"A Marvel movie?" Natasha questioned. "What's that?"

Your eyes almost popped out of your head as you thought up an excuse. "Just a series of movies. Nothing special."

She didn't look convinced at all and you suddenly became very nervous.

"Perhaps we should let her rest?" Thor spoke up.

"I like that idea." You nodded, trying to stand up and almost falling on your face.

Thor caught you within a second and you blushed bright red. He was even more amazing in person. You wanted to melt into his touch right then and there.

"Are you okay...?" He asked, waiting for your name.

"(Y/n). I think..."

"I will make sure she can rest." Thor told the others as he easily supported your weak form.

There was a murmur of agreements and a few grumbles but you accepted Thor's help nonetheless. This was freaky.

You were in the MCU by the looks of it. But how? Where was (f/n)? Was she okay? Were you okay? Were you supposed to tell the Avengers that you knew everything about them and even knew their future?

Then everything went black again.
