nobody's POV
it was the morning of Marinette's first day of college, and as excited as she was, she was also extremely nervous.
Marinette didn't know who she would be sharing her college dorm room with, so was panicking.
"Tikki! what if they don't like me!"
"what if i don't like them!"
"what if they see you!"
"what if they discover IM ladybug!"
"THIS IS A TOTAL DISASTER!"
marinette slumped into her chaise, the red kwami flying down to comfort her
"come on marinette it won't be that bad"
"yes it will tikki!, plus the fact i'm already upset i have to say goodbye to alya and nino in- 10 MINUTES!!"
marinette shrieked as she realised what the time was"
"TIKKI IM NOT GOING TO MAKE IT TO WAVE THEM GOODBYE FOR ENGLAND!" the poor girl cried
as marinette rushed out of her bakery to the airport to wish farewell to her friends she gasped for air.
marinette had never been the athletic sort.
As marinette headed into the airport she squeezed herself through bundles of other teenagers who were also leaving to go to their colleges. Marinette had decided to stay in france, besides, she still needed to protect the city as ladybug right?
"marinette! over here!"
she heard alya shout
Marinette ran over to her two friends, panting
"girl did you just run here?" alya chuckled
"yes- no- well-" marinette said gasping for air
"girl you need to work on your time management skills" alya laughed
"sup dudette," nino said joining the conversation, he did a fist bump with marinette and laughed.
"i'm going to miss you guys both so much" mari said with tears filling in her eyes
"come on girl we'll be down every vacation to visit" alya reassured.
"good, i don't know what id do without you"' mari smiled.
*intercom voice* now boarding flight 567
"shoot that's ours!" alya hurriedly said
"i'm going to miss you so much girl" alya hugged mari, tears approaching her eyes
"you have to promise to call me every day, and send me pics and-"
"it's okay alya" mari smiled, "get on your flight!" i'll be watching you take off"
"i'll miss you" alya replied, she gave mari a final hug and took ninos arm and boarded the plane.
Marinette walked over the the window to watch them take off, she rested her elbows on the greasy, sticky side. she watched as their plane flew off into the pale blue sky, the huge white machine, going farther away, had become ever so small, and carried her bestfriend and her boyfriend away to their future.
she stared for a little while longer, tears filling up in her eyes, as she turned around to exit, she walked out to start her future.
