nobodies POV

a few weeks had passed since marientte told adrien about her baby, and adrien confessed his feelings to marinette

for some reason akuma attacks had been hardly happening at all

and when they did, chat cut the small talk with ladybug, due to his relationship with marinette, and besides, she clearly had someone else as she was pregnant

ladybug had picked up on this, and it saddened her, as she kind of did have a crush on chat, but adrien would always have her heart

adrien had also been feeling the mixed emotions, as he still had a crush on ladybug, but of course nobody could compete with marinette

as marinette was now roughly 7-8 weeks pregnant, she was going to be getting told at her first scan how many weeks she actually was, she had to face telling her parents, adriens parents, and her friends

as it was the day her friends were all returning to paris for their 2 week break from college, marinette and adrien thought it was the perfect time to tell their previous class mates

"morning beautiful" adrien marvelled, as he watched marinette roll over to face him

she smiled and threw her arms around adrien

she pulled him in closer to her and laid hugging him

"it's my scan today" she smiled

adrien reached out to hold her hand, he kissed her lips gently, and whispered, "i'm so excited mari"

"but we do have to meet the others today" she hinted, trying to engage adrien to help tell their others with her later today

"ofc bug-"

he had almost called marinette bugaboo, strange for adrien to slip up, but he casually continued and said "baby"

"baby?" marinette giggled

adrien out his hand awkwardly behind his head, scratching his neck and slightly blushing

"anyways, i'm going to get dressed for today "baby"" marinette giggled

she got up, obviously she was wearing adriens t-shirt to bed

adrien followed close behind her so that he could, too, grab something to eat

"want anything mari" he called from the kitchen, as before marinette started to make anything she'd sat down to rest

marinette pondered on what she wanted, her pregnancy cravings were going crazy

"i really fancy some camembert" she said, looking around the room, unaware there was stacks of it in one of adriens cabinets

"pregnancy cravings?" he responded, cracking a smile at his girlfriend

marinette put her head in her hands, "it must be"

"no problem, i'll go get you some" he smiled, and walked over to the fridge

once marinette was out of adriens view, plagg flew out from adriens shirt

"i hope you're not doing what i think you're doing mister" he stubbornly said

"come on plagg she's pregnant and craving cheese, a little won't hurt" he said, reaching into the wheel of plaggs camembert

"i'm sorry adrien but you know that nobody touches my cheese, this is unacceptable" he said, folding his arms and looking away

"sorry plagg, i'll get you some more i promise, but right now my babys needing cheese" he motioned to marinette

"her or the one inside her, that's right adrien, i heard you call her "baby" earlier, what was that all about" he chuckled to himself

"whatever plagg, go hide" he shooed him away, and plagg flew under adriens pillow

adrien walked over to the couch with a plate of camembert

"since when did we even have camembert?" marinette asked

"oh uh i like it so i had some in the fridge" he thought of the stupid excuse on the spot as you can tell

"right" she said, taking a huge chunk of camembert, not caring about adriens lame excuse, just wanting to satisfy her cravings

adrien could see plaggs look of horror from the corner of his eye as marinette indulged in his huge hunk of camembert

"adrien, i really want a hug" she said, opening her arms out wide for him to come over to her"

adrien lay down on the sofa and pulled marinette on top of him, embracing her

"we can leave to tell them soon okay?" adrien asked

"yes" she blandly said, just enjoying the hug

"i love you mari"

"i love you too adrien"
