Ch. 7 "Gone"

                                          Rylan POV 

It was early morning the next day, I decided I would go see Mommy, You see I know exactly where Mommy is staying at, 

Happy may have let it slip a few days ago when me and Bucky went to get Ice Cream and Happy drove us, 

So here I am in a Taxi on my way to go see mommy, I miss her, and I need to see her, I need to tell her everything that has happened since we parted, 

After the two and a half hour drive I paid the man with some money I took from when I was still surviving on my own, 

I walked into the facility and asked them for the floor my mommy was on and with that I walked into the Elevator, 

When I did enter her room I was not prepared for what I saw, 

Mommy looked worse than from when I left her, she was more pale, skinny, she looked like she could fall apart any minute, she looked awful, 

But I put on my facade, 

"Mommy," I said smiling ear to ear walking over to her bed, 

"Rylan what are you doing here?" She said weakly 

"I wanted to see you," I said 

                                         Bucky POV 

"What do you mean gone!" I yelled 

"I mean I went to check on her, and when I couldn't find her I asked FRIDAY to find her and she said that she left," Steve said 

We were all in the conference room, discussing where the hell Rylan got too, Fury was even here, 

"Why would she leave?" Pietro said 

"More importantly where would she go?" Nat said 

"I don't know but we need to find her, I'll concentrate on trying to find her through security footage," Tony said leaving the room, 

"I'm going to ask people in the lobby if they seen anything," Clint said 

Me and Steve walked out of the room, 

"I just don't understand why would she leave?" Steve said as we walked out, 

Then it hit me like a ton of bricks, I stopped in my tracks, 

"Bucky?" Steve said 

"Oh god, I know where she's going," I said and walked at a brisk pace, 

"Mind sharing with me," Steve said keeping up at my pace, 

"She's gone to see her mother," I said 

"But that's so far away, how would she even get there," Steve said 

"Have you forgotten who were talking about, kid's got resources," I said 

He nodded 

"I just hope she's alright," Steve said 

I nodded, 

Sure it has only been a few months but in those months we've grown rather close to Rylan, she's squirmed her way into not just mine but all of the Avenger's hearts, that's what has us so worried and bent out of shape right now, 

But we made a promise not to just Tony but Emily to keep Rylan safe, and take care of her, and that's what me and Steve intend to do until the very end, I thought
