Rylan POV
After hours of visiting mommy I had to leave, their visiting hours were over, as I was walking a sudden overwhelming sadness took over me,
Mommy wasn't getting better she was getting worse,
I came to a park, wiping my eyes from the tears that threatened to fall,
Bucky POV
We rushed to the hospital, as we entered I had one thing in mind Rylan Oh man I hope she's here,
"Sir visiting hours are-" The woman began but then noticed who we were and stopped
We took the Elevator to the floor entering her room,
Emily looked at us weakly,
"She just left," She said
"Shit," I said
"Watch it," Steve said I just rolled my eyes,
"I thought Tony said she was going to be looked after," she said
"We are it's just she snuck out, out of no where," Steve said
"She is a hand full you think you two can handle a rambunctious little girl?" She asked
"Yes, we've been through war I'm sure we can handle a little girl," I said
"Just keep her safe, to keep a piece of mind for me, I know Rylan puts up her front of mischief and happiness, but I see her heart break knowing I'm not getting any better," She said
"We'll keep her safe," Steve said
I nodded
"Good," She said closing her eyes clearly tired,
We walked out,
"So where the hell do we start, and don't even say it," I said
Rylan POV
It was the next morning and I was exploring everything this town had to offer, they even had a little mini carnival that stayed all year round,
A petting zoo, a clown that made balloons, the carnival was packed people were everywhere, I was carrying one of the balloons the clown made for me,
That's when I seen a glisten from the sunlight I look in the direction and see Bucky, and Steve,
I smiled and walked towards them with a big smile on my face,
"Rylan!" Bucky said rushing towards me, he got to his knees
"Are you alright?" He asked worried
"Yup, look what the clown gave me," I said showing him the balloon,
He looked back at Steve looking worried,
"Rylan we need to talk about you sneaking off," Bucky said picking me up,
"Why?" I said tilting my head,
"Do you have any idea how dangerous it is out here on your own?" Steve said
"I've done it before," I said
"Yeah but it's different now," Bucky said Sternly
"It is?" I asked
"Yes," They both said
