•A week later•This is a day I loathe, not just because I miss Artemis but because I have to be hugged by people who are not Arabella. Ew. I've had enough of that, every time my mom sees me around the house she hugs me for like an hour, Allegra comes into my bedroom and lies down between Arabella and me in the middle of the night; and Mariano pecks my lips at breakfast.
Enough is enough.
Arabella has been texting me since I left the house this morning, I don't want to make her hysterical so I send her a picture every 10 minutes so she knows I'm okay. She's not planning any surprise party, I told everyone that I don't want any surprises today. My plan is to get home, have dinner in bed with my wife, watch GoT and fuck my wife until I can't keep my eyes open.
Simple plan.
As I sat in my office, my mind was invaded with everything my marriage has gone through the last seven months; I don't regret anything, I wouldn't change a thing because when Arabella walked through that door in the old castle in Scotland, I truly realized how much I love and need her, it brought us even closer; every day we stay up talking until we can't keep our eyes open and I don't think I could do that with anyone but my princess.
Yesterday I finished with the babymoon planning, everything is booked and I hope she loves it.
"Apollo," Armani's voice called from the other side of the door "can I come in?"
"Yes," I cleared my throat and fixed my suit as I sat up straight.
My brother walked in with his hands behind his back "I know it's almost time to go home but I want to talk to you."
I nodded and motioned for him to sit down so he did "Everything all right?"
Armani shook his head which mortified me "I've been keeping this a secret for the past few months."
I raised an eyebrow leaning on my desk "Just tell me, Armani."
My brother looked into my eyes with regret "Okay," he took a deep breath "I-I-I think I'm in love with Arabella."
That's his secret?
"Okay," I nodded unfazed "are you going to act on it?"
"You're not angry?" he raised an eyebrow.
I shook my head "I've known since the beginning, and Arabella loves me so I have nothing to worry about–"
The door opened and I saw my wife with a backpack rushing in "Baby!" she sat on my lap and pecked my lips.
A big smile played on my lips "What are you doing here, princess?"
She shrugged "I thought I should come to get my husband from work, take you to get a doughnut or two, maybe a dozen," the woman chuckled caressing my cheeks.
"I would love that," I whispered, looking into her eyes.
"Good." Arabella stood and placed the backpack on my lap "Change."
Armani stood up, fixing his sleeves "I should go," my wife looked at him with a smile and I could see it in his eyes, he is really in love which pains me since my brother deserves someone who loves him back; Armani has a habit of falling in love with women in established relationships "I'll see you back at the house," and with that, he left.
"Why do you want me to change?" I asked, getting up.
"Because I like it when you wear turtleneck sweaters, it makes me hornier," a chuckle left her mouth. "Hurry."
