I pulled up to a parking spot and backed up into it so the front of my car was facing out. I got out and saw my best friend iguro with his girlfriend mitsuri I waved to them and continued looking at the cars. What caught my eye was a girl she was standing next to a rwb porche.

She was wearing a purple skirt with some white thigh highs and a purple shirt with yellow stripes on it. And had a ponytail with a yellow butterfly hair clip.

I was going to walk up to her and try to talk but my nerves got the best of me and I stayed by my car.
Iguro and mitsuri walked over to me and started to talk to me. " Nice car y/n" mitsuri complemented "thanks" I replied "hey guys" I asked "what's up" iguro asked "who's the girl over there in the purple. "Thats kanao tsuyuri she's one of the best drifters here"mitsuri told me with stars in here eyes. I got up and walked over to her. "Hey kanao" she just stared at me with a confused look as well as the others around me "I challenge you to a drift race" I declared she just laughed and got in her car. I heard murmers and wispers about how I'm crazy to challenge her to a race. But Im actually a drift champion. I used to live in america so I was in drift races all the time. I walked back over to my car and got in and drove to the start line. The winner was the first to the top. " 3 2 1 GO" IGURO YELLED. We raced up to the top drifting every corner. But I passed her at the end a got to the top first. After being congratulated kanao walked up to me with her keys in her hand. "What's this for"I asked "I only race for pink slips and you won so here" she told me as she tried to give me the key " I don't want your car all I wanted was your respect and I earned that. So thank you for the race" I told her and walked away "at least take this"she tossed me a small box with a piece of paper in it. I took the box and set it down next to me in my car and drove away. I was at a stop light so I decided to look at the paper in the box the paper read "here's my number call me some time cutie- kanao" I blushed at the fact that she called me a cutie but continued to drive knowing if I took my hands off the wheel I would crash.

I got home and grabbed my phone,I dialled in the number on the piece of paper. she picked up the phone after a couple rings "hey kanao" I said enthusiastically "hey I never got your name what is it" she asked quietly "it's y/n l/n"I responded "I like that name...it suits you"thanks?"I said "hey y/n I have to go to work I'll talk to you later" "wait before you go can we schedule a day to hang out?" "Yeah sure I'm available tomorrow is that good"she said in her normal soft voice "that's great bye nao"I said quickly be before I hung up "I hope it goes well especially after calling her a nickname.
