After a cup of tea with Mr.C/L/N, C/N woke up. "Hdibskshsj!" He blurted nonsense to his father and I. I fought back my laugh as I set my cup down. C/N looked at me drowsily. "Ohhhh~ Hewo Y/N *hiccup*! Whan did ye gert here?" He slurred, only to go back to sleep again. I let out my laughter and doubled over.

"You find this attractive?" His father asked, pointing a thumb to his son. I blushed, the color covering my face and down my neck.
"Y-Yes." I mumbled. He sighed through his nose and I smiled.

"Well, I should get going. My mother might find me out of bed." I said guiltily, though I had an evil grin on my face. He chuckled and we stood. "Thank you, again, for bringing him home." He said with a slight rasp.

He opened the door for me, the cold air making me shiver. "Of course! Imagine if he got another drink in!" I joked. Mr.C/L/N gave me a jokingly horrified look, making me laugh again.

I gave him a quick hug before leaving with a wave. I heard the door shut as I walked back in the direction of home.

I had planned to stay out longer, have more fun, but then I found C/N. I looked to the snowy path, cringing at the sight of some yellow snow. What made me physically flinch was the vomit beside it. I almost vomited myself as I took a very large step over the nasty mess.

Men drawled at me as I passed, women just giving me longing smiles. It made my gut wrench, the fact that these women were once young and lively like myself.

I bit my lip and gave them small smiles and continued on. I turned a corner and bumped into someone. "Umph!" I scorned as I fell on my bum. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" A voice said. They extended a hand and pulled me to a stand. I dusted off my skirts and looked at the person.

Well, he is striking. Carmel hair that fell to his shoulders was tied into a small ponytail. He had strong cheekbones; his skin was a bit tan, like he works in the sun. He had broad shoulders and was half a foot taller than me! His eyes were a firey auburn, some hazel flecks around his dark pupils.

I blinked and immediately dipped into a curtesy. "Sorry for bumping into you, sir." I said politely as I stood. He lifted my hand to his full lips and kissed it. "T'was my fault." He said smoothly, a perfect British accent. Most men that had accents spoke in a way that did their accent an injustice, ruining it. He enhanced it.

"I'm Levi Montgomery." He said, dropping my hand. "Y/F/N Schuyler." I said respectively. His eyes widened just a bit and I knew I lost him to my family name.

"Schuyler! Your-" I anticipated his words. Father is an icon, or Father is so brave! Am I able to meet him? "-brothers hid on my boat." I blinked repeatedly. Oh! The attack! Oh. "Oh my goodness, thank you so so much for keeping them safe!" I praised.

He waved away my thanks. "Of course! They are such strapping young lads! They even helped me clean my boat." He said with a laugh. Of course they did. I laughed a bit and he flashed me a grin.

"Are you heading home? Am I able to walk you?" He asked. Hmmm. Was there any harm? He is polite and friendly. I mean, walking me home isn't a romantic gesture. Is there a downside? "Are you sure? I don't wish to be a bother." I said shyly.

He shook his head a bit. "Not a bother at all! It would be my pleasure!" He charmed. I gave him a graceful smile and we started walking side by side.

After a few silent moments, Levi asked, "I've heard that your sister is getting married soon." I nodded, lifting my dark skirts over a stone. "Yes, Elizabeth is engaged to Alexander Hamilton." I clarified.

He gave me a side look I caught from the corner of my eye. "And you?" He said, just louder than a whisper. I fought a bemused smile. "C/F/N C/L/N. After Elizabeth gets married, we will get married." I said, the thought making me smile genuinely.

Levi blushed a bit and kind of coughed. "That's wonderful." He said quietly. Had I embarrassed him? Or was it something else? I looked forward and saw my house a few meters ahead.

"How about you?" I asked. "Anyone in your life?" He just kind of shrugged. "Not currently." He said vaguely.

We reached the house and he walked me up the steps. "Thank you for walking me home." I said, curtsying. He did a small bow. "Of course." I gave him a small smile as he walked down the steps. Once he was far enough away, I slowly opened the door and found a candle lit.
