Part 11 || jealousy

Sunghoon's POV

We followed y/n to the makeup store

Y/N: "you guys can follow me if you want but I can just call you when I'm done"

Jake: "I can go with you" he smiled at y/n and I glared at him

Sunghoon: "I'll go with you too" I smiled at her and she walked off and we followed. We both stayed quiet following y/n around.

Y/N: "which do you guys think is a better color tint for me?" She showed us two

Jake: "why don't you try them on then we'll pick" she nodded and placed once color on the half of lip and the other on the other side

Sunghoon: "I like this one better" I pointed to the one on the right

Jake: "well I like this one better" he pointed to the one on the left

Y/N: "well I actually like this one better since it's a little more natural" she picked Jake's and placed down the one I picked. I felt hurt and a bit jealous, it's just a lip tint Sunghoon stop overthinking it "oh look at this one! I think it'll look good on you" she showed both of us a different color tint but we didn't know who 'you' meant "come here"

She pulled my shirt making my face go closer to hers. She tiptoed and I bent down so she could match my height. She placed some tint on her finger and tapped it on my lips applying it. I stared at her face and my heart started beating really really really fast. My hands started sweating and my face felt hot. Shit I hope I'm not blushing. She glided her finger across my lip making me gulp.

Y/N: "there! What do you think?" She turned me around making me face the mirror. I chuckled and looked at her

Sunghoon: "it's cute, I like it" I felt better and she smiled getting a brand new lip tint. So she was buying her color and the color she placed on me

I looked over at Jake and he was slumping down looking away. I didn't know how to feel about it but there was also this feeling of triumph?

We headed for the checkout and paid for everything

Y/N: "here Hoonie this is yours" she said giving me the tint

Sunghoon: "but y/n, I thought you were just testing it out on me for you" I tried giving it back but she refused

Y/N: "no silly, I tested it on you for you now keep it" she placed it in my hand closing my fingers.

Sunghoon: "thanks y/n" I smiled pulling her by her waist kissing her forehead.

Jake's POV

I grit my teeth and clenched my fists at the sight in front of me. I hate this feeling, it does not feel good. I looked away following them.

Y/N: "oh my gosh! Look at that stuffed puppy!" She ran to a toy store looking at the stuff toys "Jake this one looks exactly like you!" She showed me a cute stuffed dog and I smiled

Jake: "oh yeah it does" we chuckled and she ran to the cashier with the stuff toy. As she was checking out Sunghoon stopped me

Sunghoon: "look let's just get this straight" I fully face him giving him a poker face

Jake: "get what straight?" I placed my hands in my pocket trying to look intimidating

Sunghoon: "I know you like y/n" I tilt my head and chuckled

Jake: "so? I do like her and what does that have to do with you?" He crosses his eyebrows

Sunghoon: "it has something to do with me because she's my bestfriend" he glared at me and I glared back

Jake: "bestfriend? Really?" *scoff* if you were really her bestfriend you'd want the best for her, we've know each other since we were kids. I would think you'd be fine with me if I dated her but then you're acting like this" he glared at me even more and I smirked "unless you're acting like this cause you like her too huh?" He softened his expression and looked at me "so you do like her" he grabbed my collar and brought me close to his face

Sunghoon: "fine. I do like her but if she ends up choosing you, you better make sure not to hurt her" I look at him in disbelief. Me hurt y/n? I push him off of me and glare at him. He's been hurting her all this time without knowing it! And I'm the one that's been there for her! And now he threatens me not to hurt her?!

Jake: "hurting y/n? What if I said your hurting her already?" He looked at me confused

Sunghoon: "what are you say-"

Jake: "look, we both like y/n so we let her decide who she likes. And trust me I'm not gonna hurt her like you hurt her" I walked away leaving him with that

Sunghoon's POV

I was so confused with what Jake said. I hurt y/n? When did I even? I tried back tracking my steps with y/n and I can't remember anytime I could've hurt her feelings or caused her harm. I walked to Jake and y/n by the cashier

Y/N: "here Jake this is for you" she gave Jake the dog stuff toy and he smiled

Jake: "thanks y/n"

Y/N: "now lets go meet with the others" she swung both her arms over me and Jake's shoulder and we bent down since she was shorter than us. She smiled at both of us and we both smiled back at her. I guess what Jake said was right. I do like you and I'd be lying if I wasn't hurt seeing you happy because of Jake

Y/N's POV

While we were walking back to the group I spotted the girls who bullied me. My breathing became hitched and and I held on tightly to Jake's shirt. He looked at me worriedly and then noticed I was staring at something. When he realized it he hugged me and turned around making his back face the girls therefore hiding me. He hugged me for a while and I hugged him back tightening it. I'm so grateful to have someone like Jake. Someone I can count on someone like a brother to me.

Y/N: "thanks Jake" I whispered to him as we pulled apart

Sunghoon's POV

Out of no where when we were walking Jake suddenly hugged y/n letting her rest on his chest. I clenched my fist and was about to ask what was going on but I stopped when I noticed y/n hugged Jake even tighter. I clenched my jaw and fists as I looked at them in jealousy. They pulled apart and y/n whispered something in his ear that I didn't catch

Sunghoon: "lets go" I walked ahead of them and they followed quietly behind me. I didn't even bother questioning it

Jay: "hey guys, how was buying makeup?"

Y/N: "it was ok" Jake went over and whispered something to Jay and Yeji without the others noticing but I noticed. Jay and Yeji looked shocked

Yeji: "hey guys I'm kinda tired can we call it a day?" But she was just so energetic a while ago?

Jay: "I agree" later on the others agreed and we all decided to go home

Jake: "see ya y/n and don't worry about them ok?" He whispered to y/n but I heard it. I turn to look at them hugging

What's there to worry about? Is 'them' the reason why y/n is crying? We separated ways and y/n and Jay went with us since our house was in the same direction

<time skip house>

Before we went to our own houses I stoped y/n by her wrist.

Sunghoon: "change clothes bring your skates and meet me down here in 20mins" I ran inside my house before she could ask any questions
