Part 24 || you still don't remember

Jake's POV

I was sitting on a park bench waiting for Jay and y/n to arrive. I was so nervous but excited at the same time. Is she still the same as before? How should I act around her? My thoughts were cut off when someone called my name

Jay: "Jake!" I turned my head and see both of them arriving. Oh my gosh... it really is her, but if I didn't know she doesn't even look like y/n she changed so much. I don't think anyone would recognize her, gosh what did your parents do to you?

Y/N: "is this your friend?" She asked Jay and he nodded

Jake: "hey y/n!" I waved but I really wanted to hug her and told her I missed her but Jay said I couldn't do that

Y/N: "oh you already know my name" she chuckled

Jake: "oh yeah, your brother told me" I noticed she was holding onto her skates which made my eyes widen a bit "did you come from the ice rink?"

Y/N: "yup! Jay took me there just before we met you"

Jay: "why don't we go around and hangout for a while?" She nodded

Y/N: "wait! Let me get ice cream first, you guys want?" We shook our heads no "well your loss" we chuckled as she ran off

Jake: "so what's the plan?"

Jay: "let's just talk about some old memories she was a part of" I nodded waiting for y/n to come out

A few minutes later we heard the door of the convenience store open

Y/N: "let's go?" We started walking and y/n was in between us

Jake: "say Jay, do you remember the bullies in school? You know those 3 bitches?"

Jay: "yeah man those 3 skanks were really annoying"

Y/N: "why? What did they do to you?" Me and Jay look at each other giving a she-doesn't-recognize-it look *sigh*

<time skip end of the day>

Nothing worked at all, she didn't find anything we said familiar. This is gonna take a while...

Y/N: "bye Jake it was nice meeting you!" I felt a wave of sadness when she said that. You've known me your whole life y/n

Jake: "you too" I sadly smiled as she entered her house while I walked away going back to mine

Y/N's POV

Jay and I entered the house to see our parents eating dinner

Mom: "hey honey come join us" Jay and I sat down and started digging in

Dad: "so what have you guys been doing?"

Y/N: "oh we went to the ice-" I was gonna say ice skating rink but then Jay cut me off

Jay: "we met up with Jake!" He looked at me and gave me a play-along look. I nodded but I was confused "We just hung out with him and it seemed like he was getting along very well with y/n" my parents smiled brightly and smirked at each other. Am I missing something here?

Dad: "well that's great, what did you think of Jake honey?" He asked facing me

Y/N: "he was ok he was fun to talk to. I think he'd be a good friend" I said before taking a sip from my water

Mom: "not boyfriend?" I choked and started coughing while Jay patted my back

Y/N: "mom! I just met the guy today, and I don't think I'll end up liking him. His personality is fun but I don't think I'd wanna date him" I chuckled but my parents frowned and gave each other a look.

The rest of the night were just a bunch of questions about Jake and they kept telling me how fun it'd be if we started dating. Seriously no. I can already tell that I like him but not as a lover. He seems more of like a second brother

<time skip>

I went up to my room and laid down on my bed but Jay entered disturbing my peace

Jay: "sorry about that, our parents really love Jake"

Y/N: "oh really that wasn't obvious, I thought they hated him" I said sarcastically "anyway I'm going skating again tomorrow but you don't have to come with me"

Jay: "ok just be safe" I nodded and we bid each other goodnight

Sunghoon's POV

I still haven't eaten the whole day and I was losing weight faster. I wanted to eat but I just didn't have the energy to. I turn to my side facing my window. I stood up and checked it, y/n's window is still closed with wood and cardboard. I sighed walking back to my bed but my eyes caught my skates, the skates y/n gave me when I was around 13 or 14

Maybe I should go out tomorrow, the ice rink maybe... *sigh* I won't skate though I'll just go there to reminisce the last few memories y/n and I had
