"hey" jake greeted as he walked down the cab. i smiled on him. "i bring some foods for your mom.. i don't know what she actually like" napakamot pa sya sa batok nya dahil sa hiya

"no it's fine! is that a soup? mom will like that, let's go" sumakay kami sa sasakyan ko at pinagdrive naman kami ni manong leo papunta sa hospital.

we didn't talked that much inside the the car, it was so awkward!!!

"how's layla?" i broke the long silence. "she's doing good! were practicing new tricks" he giggled a bit. i smiled.

"i should cook something for your mom.. but i don't have any time yet. should i ask her later for her recommendations?" i nodded, "she will love it"

we keep silent again..

"jake"

"psyche" we both laughed dahil sabay naming tinawag ang isa't isa.

"you go first..." he said, i gulped.

"are you mad?" deretsong tanong ko sa kanya.

"no.. did i make you feel like that?" napatungo ako at tumango.

"you're avoiding me.. and you're not in your usual self so.. i thought you are mad" i shyly explained

"i'm sorry.. i just act weirdly because i have a lot of thoughts that time, my mind was a mess" i nodded, "what are you thinking?"

"uh.. you remember the girl i like right?" he scratched the tip of his nose. "i think-" he cut his words when manong leo stopped the car.

"nandito na po tayo miss" i smiled on manong leo before i go down the car.

ako ang nagdala ng bulaklak samantalang dala naman ni jake ang paper bag na may laman na pagkain.

"don't worry psyche, i am not mad" i smiled on him, kahit papaano nabawasan naman ang bigat sa damdamin ko.

pinindot ko ang floor kung saan ang room ni mommy.

"mommy!!!" i enthusiastically greeted my mom as i entered the room "i missed you!" i gave her a hug and kiss her on his cheek.

"flowers!" i showed her the flowers, kinuha nya agad yun sa kamay ko at inamoy. "thank you my love, i missed you too"  pinat nya ang ulo ko gaya ng palagi nyang ginagawa sa akin dati.

"oh, mom.. i am with someone today" tinawag ko si jake na nasa pinto lang. "mom si jake" jake politely bowed. "good afternoon po" jake greeted.

"jake, si mom" mom smiled widely. "psyche is right! you are really handsome" nanlaki ang mata ko sa sinabi ni mommy. napatingin tuloy sa akin si jake.

"talaga po? thank you po" nahihiya tuloy akong umiwas ng tingin kay jake. he was smiling like he's teasing me kaya inirapan ko sya, he giggled.

"and ma'am, i bought something to eat" jake interrupted my death glare on him.

"ma'am? just call me tita!" mom smiled, i helped her to sat down on her bed so we can sit on couch. inayos ni jake ang pagkain habang inaayos ko 'yung dextrose ni mommy.
