Perfection. They are just so great together. In the Manga, they are just so close and trusting of each other. I really hope Barley goes to StarClan so they can be together there. The saddest thing ever is when Barley says "I miss Ravenpaw every day, every heartbeat." They went on so many journeys together. In Ravenpaw's Farewell, they go to see Violet and her kits, then they journey to take two of the kits, Bella and Riley to SkyClan after Ravenpaw got a dream from Bluestar. I can't imagine how lonely Barley must be now that Ravenpaw's gone.
