*Lucy's POV*

Every time me and Blake were supposed to hang out he cancelled say he had something impressive to do. I talked to Addilyn and she said the same thing had been happening with Ryan. The thing is though, they say that but we see them with the rest of our friends. Sometimes we don't even see them at all. Me and Addilyn started walking downstairs to the beautifully made mess hall for dinner, as we discussed we'd give them some space. We sat down and began to eat the steak that was made for us when the perky blonde bitch who's been obsessed with Ryan decides to sit down in front of us. I noticed our group of friends watching us out of the corner of my eye. She leans across the tables and begins with her forces love of drama. "Do you two know the actual reasons you friends and dare I say boyfriends have been flaking on you?" I looked over to see Addilyn already getting heated. "Well let's see Lucy, Blake has been going with grace and they've been having so much fun from what I've heard." She tells me "listen I don't kno—" i begin when she interrupted me "No, I'm not done." She says looking towards Addilyn who's kept quiet with her head down. "Ryan? Oh let's just say that text he sent you sweetie? About me not getting it from me? Yeah obviously he lied. I mean come on then avoiding you two for a week? I will say you're missing a lot. Ryan really knows how to put on a show." And that sentence was all it took for Addilyn to start sniffling up her tears as she got up and walked out as fast as possible. "I don't know what the hell kind of game you're playing but leave us the hell out of it." "Aw sweetie, you care?" "No." "Then why are you crying?". I got up sniffling my tears back going to find my best friend.

I went straight back to our room thinking she would be there, but no sign of her. I called, I texted, left voicemails, and tried multiple times to FaceTime but she didn't answer anything.

*Alvas' POV*

"No listening in guys. Just watch, we don't want to be that rude." Noah tells us. Of course being me I didn't listen, even though he is my Alpha. I listened. I listened to every word she said, every lie that came out of her mouth, and needless to say I was livid. Once the four of us watched both girls get up and walk out with tears. I was even angrier she would try and ruin the friendships we made. The bitchy blonde walked out next and I followed. "Alva. No!" Noah told me as the boys followed. I grabbed her by her arm and put her against the wall "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! THEY WALKED OUT WITH TEARS AND THAT MAKES YOU FEEL TRIUMPHANT?" I yell in her face. "Yeah sweetie. It really does. Now knowing they'll never want to have anything to do with any one of you. Especially you two." She sails looking at Ryan and Blake. Noah pulled me away from her and wrapped his arms around me to prevent me from attacking her out of pure anger. "I thought we agreed not to listen?" Noah asked as the blonde began walking away. "You three did. Not me. And I'm glad I did, because you should've heard the things that came out of her mouth Noah. Those girls think we don't like them, they think you two have been hooking up with her and Grace, and those girls think we've hurt them. To no end." I tell the boys. Ryan looks angry as he begins to storm off Angry. "Uh oh." Blake says as we run off after him. We pulled him into the boys bathroom as he begins to try and fight us off. "Come on Ryan! Not here! Not now! Fight it back!" Noah tells him. If Ryan transformed here in the school, there would be no telling how much blood would be on his hands. After a few minutes of getting him to hold it back and his painful groaning he eventually slid down the wall and onto the floor. Sweat dripped all down his face. "Dude that was hard." He says making all looks at each other. "Will all of them be painful?" Blake asks. "Only the first couple of times." I tell them. "Hey, you did good bro. The full moon is in a couple of days so I have a few days to train you for that. Now, let's go find our friends. Remember what I taught you about using scents?" Noah's asks them as they Nod. "Good let's go." He says as we split up.

*Addilyns POV*

After I walked out and avoided every call I went to my horse Prince. I got him loaded up and decided to take him for a ride. I mounted him and we rode out onto a trail. This what I wanted. Silence. Peace. A play to cry by myself. I sat up on top of my horse mad at myself. I was mad that I let in the player. I opened up to him. I did it even after Alva told me he was a player. I did it. I trusted him and look where it got me. I suddenly stop crying and grew worried when I heard a low growl. "Let's go Prince! Go! Yah!" I yelled and got him to go as fast as he could. We saw the lights to the boarding school and he ran as fast as he could. Once we got to the doors of the school the growling stopped. I hopped off of prince and led him to the stables as fast as possible. Once he was ass settled back in I ran as fast as possible to get inside the school. I was worried what ever it could have been may still be out there waiting. Once I made it inside school I closed the doors and fell to the floor out of breath. "Addilyn?" I heard Alva ask. I jumped up off the floor and into her arms. "Oh my God. I never thought I'd see any of you again." I tell her crying. "What the hell happened?" All of our friends asked running up to us. "Addi!" "Lucy! I thought I was gonna die." I tell her crying. "Here. Let's sit you down. So you can tell us everything that happened." Noah tells me. We all take a seat in the chairs around us and I begin to tell them everything that happened. "I don't know what it could have been, but it scared me and it chased me and prince all the way until we got close to the school. The thought of it catching one of us scared me." "You know you took a really big chance when you went back out there to put up prince." Lucy told me. "I know but what else would I have done. I'm not leaving him out there in the open to die. I wanted him safe." I tell her. "You didn't answer my calls!" "My phone was turned off." "Don't do that." "I won't." I tell her. After everyone gets up to go to their rooms Ryan stays. "Can i help you?" I ask. "What's going on? Why'd you leave like that?" "I don't know, maybe your sex buddy stopped by to tell me that you lied to me. Ryan you told me that you wouldn't." I looked at him with tears. "Hey, I didn't. I swear on it." He said getting in front of me and cupping my cheeks. "I would never do that to you. Yeah, maybe I was like that before but when you got here everything changed. I wanted you, I still do, and I would never do anything to jeopardize that." "Then why have you been flakey everytime we are gonna hang out?" "It is not because of you." He said getting closer to my face. "I've been having some issues lately. I'll be able to let you know one day. I promise." He tells me. "Ryan? Will you please stay with me tonight?" "Yeah I will, let's go." He said grabbing my hand. We make it back to our room and see Blake and Lucy talking "hey, I'm gonna stay with Ryan tonight okay? I love you" "I love you too Addilyn.". We head towards Ryan's room and he unlocks his door. "You can sleep on the bed, I'll take the floor" "No. it's your room. Plus I'd feel a lot better if you were beside me." "Addi look, as much as I would like to be, I want to take us slow. I know I've laid with you before but I've never slept beside you." He said walking over cupping my cheeks with his hands. "Well, then will you at least lay there until I fall asleep?" I ask with tears in my eyes. "Why are you crying?" He asks sweetly. "Because you have no idea how bad I want you." I tell him. He kissed my forehead telling me he'd lay with me. "I don't want to mess this up." He says as he lays with his arm wrapped around me. "I know Ry. Can I kiss you?" "Addi-" "Fine. I won't." I tell him giggling. "Goodnight Addilyn." "Goodnight Ryan.".

When I woke up Ryan was no longer beside me. He was up and getting ready for the day. "Well good morning sunshine." He says as he comes to sit beside me brushing the hair out of my face. "Good morning Ryan." "I'm busy today and tonight but we can definitely hang out tomorrow, I promise. We can spend the whole day together since we don't have classes. How does that sound?" "Sounds like it would be a really good day." I smile at him.

*Ryans POV*

The moon is up. It's already starting to take a toll on Blake and I. We're locked up in the woods with Noah and Alva helping us as much as they could. Me and Blake groaned in pain as we started to change and then I remember starting to try and tear Blake apart, trying to rip off the chains, and trying to get away. As the moon went down and we started to change back Noah began speaking "Was it bad?" "No, I just wanted to rip yours, Ryan's, and Alvas throat out. That's it." Blake said and Alva laughed at his sarcasm. "It'll get easier. One day you'll be able to control it even on full moons. That is only if you have the strength to do that." Alva tells us. "Yeah, alright you guys should go shower. I believe someone promise a day to Addilyn." Noah says smiling. "Right. See you guys later.".

After my shower, I go to the girls room and knock on their door. "Hey Ryan!" Lucy says as she opens the door. "Hey Lulu. Where's Addilyn?" "Her and Apollo went riding. She should be near the horse stables." "Alright thanks Lu!" "You're welcome!" She calls down the hall at me. I went outside to see Apollo's leash tied to Prince and them trotting around in the green grass. I run to catch up to them and with the newfound strength and speed I made it there. "Hey Ryan." She smiles at me. "Ready for our day?" "Yeah. Climb on here. I'll take you riding.". I climbed on top of her horse and wrapped my arms around her waist we rode around. We rode and talked for about an hour before we decided to go into town and get some lunch. She called Alva to put her animals away for her as we headed to my car. "So where do you want to eat?" "Ummm, I'm not sure what's all in this town?" "How about I take you to my favourite place?" "That sounds good." She smiled at me as we got into my jeep.

We arrived at the coffe shop and sat down looking through the menus laughing and talking. "What can I get for you guys today?" "I would like the ham and turkey club, a small fry, and a tea." I tell her "what can I get for to the ma'am?" "Chicken bacon ranch club, a small fry, and the strawberry drink." Addilyn tells her. "You really like strawberries." I laugh telling her. "Yeah, I do. I love the scent that's why I use it a lot." "So what do you want to do after we're done here?" "We should go walking in nature. Go to the lake." "It's freezing." "I didn't say get in the water. I just wanna go spend time with you." She tells me. After we finished eating we headed towards the trails in the woods. We laughed and talked for about 30 minutes when we heard a twig snap. I turned my body quickly to where I heard it come from. "Addi. Run. Now!" I yell. "What? No! I'm not leaving you! You're crazy!" "I said go!" I growled loudly out at her. She gasped when she saw my face and different color eyes. "Oh my goodness." She whispered out and then took off once she saw the huge, hairy, tall, and scary wolf come out from behind the bushes. I began to fight as best as I could but I couldn't. I collapsed after begin scared by his sharp claws. After he took off I tried my best to get back to campus.

*Addilyns POV*

He didn't look like him. It's didn't seem like it. But deep down i knew it was real. How could I hide from it? There was no possible way that I could. I was worried sick for him. I was scared he wouldn't make it back. So, I sat on his bed in my pajamas and waited for him. When he walked through the door I jumped up and saw his bloodied and hurt face and body. I ran and pulled him into my arms. "I thought you were gonna die." I told him crying. "I'm okay. It'll heal." "Why didn't you tell me?" "Would you have believed me?" He asked hugging me tighter. He pulls away slightly and sits on the edge of his bed as I walk over and stand in front of him. He puts his hands on my waist asking if I'm okay. "You're asking if I'm okay? Ryan. Are you okay?" "That doesn't matter." "Yes it does Ryan." I kneeled in front of him with fresh tears. "Do you know what I would do if I lost you?" I ask him my hands grabbing the back of his neck and hair. "When you yelled at me to leave you, that was the hardest things I had to do. It took everything in me not to turn around and let it tear me to shreds to save you. Ryan you can't do that. I want you safe." "It's my job to protect you. That may mean we have to stay away from each other." He says grabbing my cheeks. "No! Ryan. Don't do that. Don't push me away." I tell him crying. I get up and sit on his lap putting our foreheads together "promise me you won't." "I promise." He says quietly as he strokes my cheek. I couldn't help but lean in and kiss him with as much passion as I could. Surprisingly he kissed me back with just as much force and passion. When we pulled away from each other he looks at me with a smile. "I'll get you one of my shirts. And you need to get some rest." You have some stuff in that drawer over there." "Are you gonna get some rest?" "Yeah, I'll be with you." He tells me as he kisses me once more.
