It was early October of 2010 in the city of Hiroshima, and two blonde brothers were talking with one another. It was Kiriyama Chuuji, and his older brother, Haruku. They were sitting on a bench, talking about stuff.

Chuuji: "Well aniki, you defeated me once again."

Haruku: "That might be true, but you've really gotten stronger... and I'm proud of you for that."

Chuuji: "Thanks, aniki!"

Haruku: "It's great to see the Gaibotsu Game growing more than ever. Seeing a lot of strong Gaibotsu players really fires you up, huh?"

Chuuji: "Yeah! Who knows, maybe I'll even succeed you one day as Hiroshima's number 1 player!"

Haruku: "If that day comes, I'll be happy beyond comprehension."

The Kiriyama brothers continued to talk. Little did they know that nearby, someone was both watching and listening. It was none other than Kurosaki Akuri, and he just laughed at what the Kiriyama brothers said.

Kurosaki: "Hmph..."

Kurosaki slowly appeared, walking across with his belt chains making a clunking sound. Haruku and Chuuji turned around, looking at Kurosaki. Haruku was surprised to see Kurosaki, and walked to him.

Haruku: "Akuri, it's been a while! I haven't seen you in a long time, where have you been?"

Kurosaki: "Quit talking as if we are friends... I came here for one reason and one reason only..."

Haruku: "Akuri..."

Kurosaki: "Battle me right now, Kiriyama Haruku! I've been gone for the longest time, and I have become stronger since then..."

Chuuji: "What is going on?!" Chuuji thought.

Haruku: "Akuri, please don't do this--"

Kurosaki: "Shut up, Haruku! I'm tired of you hogging the damn spotlight, and this time I will end you once and for all. If I win... I take your title..."

Chuuji: "Wait, aniki, don't accept it! He's just a salty chump!"

Kurosaki: "Zip it kid!"

Haruku: "Leave my brother out of this. Alright, if you want to battle... then so be it."

Kurosaki: "Good, I'll enjoy crushing you in utter defeat..."

The three took out their Gaibotsu capsules and teleported to the Gaibotsu void. Chuuji stood on the sidelines as he watched Haruku and Kurosaki begin their battle.

Chuuji: "You can do this... aniki..."

Haruku & Kurosaki: "Gaibotsu Unleash!"

Kurosaki and Haruku quickly summoned their respective Gaibotsu. Gargoyle manifested, and he roared as he flew in the hair. Apollyon, Haruku's Gaibotsu, resembled that of a humanoid lizard, a demon, and a knight. The fiery beast roared loudly, looking at Gargoyle.

Haruku: "I've tried so hard to become your friend, but I guess I need to face facts and say that you are a lost cause..."

Kurosaki: "As if I care, no one asked you to try, so why did you?"

Haruku: "Go now, Apollyon! Special move: Marching Fire!"

Apollyon roared and fired two beams of fire from his eyes directly at Gargoyle. Chuuji looked on, hoping deeply that his brother would end up being the victor of this battle.
