Jungkook had a huge pint of icecream in his lip, scooping big chunks out of it and devouring it.
Stupid Taehyung, with his stupid handsome face and stupid excuses. It's their damn anniversary and he couldn't even make time for them. Jungkook looked over at the gift he had gotten for the man, smacking it off the table in annoyance.
He ate yet another spoonful of icecream. All of the working out he did would go to waste after he ate so much. Yoongi would have to measure him again, he would surely pop out of his clothes.
Okay that might be a little dramatic, but Jungkook was upset so he had all the rights to be that way.
Jungkook's doorbell rang, he would just pretend not to be home. Nobody can disturb him when he's moping. The doorbell went again, and again, and again. Whoever was behind that door didn't know of giving up.
"So you are home." Jungkook's head snapped towards his open window where Taehyung was leaning on. "Open the door will you?"
"Climb through the window, loser."
"Fine, no gift for you, I'll be going home now." Jungkook's eyes widened before he sprinted towards his door where Taehyung stood waiting for him. "...You knew I was going to open the door if you said that huh?"
"Sure did." Taehyung pushed past Jungkook and walked into his house. Jungkook shut the door behind them.
"You're a messy eater." Taehyung laughed before wiping off the icecream from Jungkook's face with one of his napkins. "What's the gift?" Jungkook smiled, setting a step closer.
Taehyung reached inside his bag before pulling out the teddybear and handing it to him.
Jungkook let out a small giggle before lifting up the bear next to Taehyung. "It looks like you."
"I do not look like a bear."
"Yes you do, you wear the same grandpop clothes." Taehyung didn't seem very happy with the comparisment. "You're also just as cute." Jungkook tried only getting a brow raise from Taehyung. "I have a gift for you too." Jungkook announced looking at the gift he had previously knocked off the table. Jungkook scurried away and dusted off the little box.
"It fits with your grandpop fashion." Jungkook said before handing the box to Taehyung. "This better not be expensive."
"Just open it." Taehyung sighed before unwrapping the little box. Jungkook but his lip, excited to see Taehyung's reaction. Taehyung opened the little box, staring at it before looking over at Jungkook. "And? Do you like it?"
"Jungkook this is way too expensive."
"I threw away the reciept so you better keep it. I don't like those watches." Taehyung pulled out the pocketwatch from the box, inspecting the fancy little thing. On top of it stood engraved Taehyung Kim, Jungkook noticed him looking at it. "So you can find it back when you lose it." He said, pointing at the fancy letters on the watch.
"Well now my teddybear looks like a horrible gift." Taehyung laughed dryly, looking at the teddybear in Jungkook's hands. He felt bad, Jungkook had obviously thought about the gift while Taehyung just bought something on a whim. "What? No! I love it." Jungkook walked towards his bookcase, propping the teddybear on an empty spot.
"Stop being grumpy Taehyung, I like your gift."
"I'm not grumpy."
"Say that to your frown." Jungkook wrapped his arms around Taehyung's waist, staring into his eyes while smiling brightly. Taehyung set the gift aside and pulled Jungkook even closer. "Thank you." He whispered while propping his chin on Jungkook's shoulder. "You're welcome." He whispered, rubbing circles on Taehyung's back. "Happy anniversary." Jungkook smiled, pulling away from the hug. "Happy anniversary." He replied back, Jungkook twirled Taehyung's curls through his fingers. "I thought you were busy today."
Taehyung hummed before replying. "I made time free for you."
"That's sweet. I appreciate that." Jungkook leaned in and interlocked their lips. Giving his lover a sweet and innocent kiss to show his gratitude.
"If that's your thank you then perhaps I should do things for you more often." Jungkook snorted, playfully pushing Taehyung's face away from him. "I hate you." He laughed, his boyfriend putting up a fake offended look.
"I'll be leaving then, if you hate me that much." Taehyung turned on his heel but immediately got whipped back around by Jungkook's strong arms. The younger man smushing Taehyung's face in between his hands and pecking it all over.
"I still hate you though."
"The feeling is mutual." Taehyung answered, putting his usual annoyed face on before slowly breaking because of Jungkook's cackling.
