Jimin stiffened at his words, jolting him out of his state of mind for a moment, which caused a small sob to escape his shaking body.
"You ask me...why?" he responded quietly, his voice muffled as he buried his face into the fabric of his shirt.
After a moment, he then pulled away slightly, his forehead pressing lightly against his back.
"Because...you're the most important person in my life. Because I..." Jimin
He could feel his hands shaking against his stomach as his hands and arms wrapped about him tightened their hold onto him, as if he was afraid to let him go, as if he did he would be gone again... and maybe this time.
Jungkook could already guess what he was going to say. He had seen it so many times before in his face, his eyes, and his very actions. But a part of him was always so afraid of those feelings, always so worried what it meant for him and his life itself.
