Reversal (Gravity Falls)

Chapter 8: The Discovery

  

   Bill wandered around the town. It was about twilight out. He had strayed away from the manor because he wanted to explore. This wasn't how he wanted to spend quality time with his favorite foes. Bill especially hated being a human now. Too many emotions, and legs were just plain hard to not trip over. He preferred floating better. Bill noticed that he was nearing the Tent of Telepathy. He wasn't in favor of Gideon ever since their deal had been broken off once. As he passed he heard strange laughter coming from the tent.

  Bill knew it was wrong to pry, but oh well. He snuck towards the entrance and crept in. The laughter seemed to be coming from Gideon's backstage quarters. Bill followed the noise to the door. He listened in and heard Gideon's voice. "I can't believe it worked! thanks to you my precious beauty!" He held up the second journal, #2. Bill raised an eyebrow interested.

  "I never meant to open that portal, but boy am I glad that I did. Who knew a whole other Gravity Falls existed? And now with my handy dandy reverse gun in there I know it works." Gideon continued. So it was him! He opened the portal and made that gun. Maybe he had the reverse effect gun as well. "I can now cross over into another dimension, and finally find the other two journals. then both of the Gravity Falls' will belong to me!" Gideon laughed.

  Bill narrowed his eyes and slipped back into the shadows. So that little man was responsible for all this. And he wanted to take control over Gravity Falls. Bill wasn't going to let that happen. He had to warn the others. No one was allowed to take over the town. No one except for him. With that, Bill started back to the Manor.

  Dipper was still thinking about Wendy when Mabel sighed. "I am starting to miss normal Gravity Falls." Dipper turned to her. "Well it kinda was your fault." Mabel faced him. "Hey don't turn this on me. It was an accident."

  "Well no offense but sometimes you just need to be more careful. You have to play with things and then we end up like this." Dipper said. "Hey! Un true! And what about you! You do adventure stuff." Mabel retaliated. "That's different. You're the troublesome one." Dipper shot back. "Look at you! You are always off on dumb adventures!"

  "Hey you like those dumb adventures!"

  Then Mabel pulled out the ray gun she had still had with her. "Woah Mabel! Drop that!" Dipper said. They didn't notice Bill come in. "Guys- oh. I see an argument. I must watch." He stood in the doorway. "I can zap you into a baby or something so that way I don't have to hear your accusing words!" Mabel shouted at Dipper. "Don't do it!" Dipper snapped back. He lunged at the gun and grappled with her for a few seconds until she shot at him. Dipper ducked just in time to miss the ray, and it flew over him, straight at Bill.
