20. Letter

Ignore the mistakes plz

Third person pov

"Young master, the alpha wants to speak to you."

A maid informs jungkook from outside his room after knocking on the door. Jungkook kept the book he was reading on the table, above his unused diary.

He couldn't really concentrate on anything because there was only one thought in his mind--

Should I really give him a chance?

He gets up and walks out of his room and goes to his dad's office.

He knocks once before entering, smiling widely at his dad

His smile faltered when he sees his dad's tensed state.

"What's wrong, dad?"

"Son......take a seat." Sang says sweetly.

Jungkook sits down and continues to look expectantly at his dad, waiting for him to tell him what is wrong.

"Son, I got this letter from yugyeom, one of warriors who is in-charge of guarding the pack." Sang says and hands jungkook the letter.

Jungkook reads the letter, eyes focusing on every word. His shoulders were tense, eyebrows furrowed.

Alpha, On the day of your marriage anniversary, the rogues have decided to come to your place to steal the magic book. There are chances of a few spy rogues-- acting like pack members-- living in your mansion and keeping a check on your activities.

Jungkook looked at his father in shock.

"But dad, how did they manage to get into the pack? And spy rogues......how do we not know about them when they are living with us?"

"We don't know how they managed to get into the pack, son. The guard remains high always but still.....they were able to get into the pack. And about spy rogues.....you cannot recognise them. They probably conceal their scent so we don't realise."

Jungkook was deep in thought. He looked at his father and frowned when he saw how distressed he looked.

He wanted his parents to enjoy their anniversary-- didn't want them to be stressed because of these problems

"Dad, I promise you, I will do something about this. I won't let the magical book be stolen. You don't worry about all this...only concentrate on making plans to make your anniversary beautiful and happy."

Jungkook says. Sang nods but still looked hesitant.

"Jungkook-ah, it will be alright. Stop thinking so much about it." Yoongi tells.

Taehyung looks at jungkook who seemed so tense that he got a very little worried.

Jimin stopped eating and looked up at jungkook, frowning.

"What's wrong?" Jimin asks while nudging yoongi with his elbow.

"Just some problem in the pack." Yoongi says and sighs.

"Explain." Jimin tells jungkook who started telling them about the rogues who were going to try to steal the precious book on the day of his parents marriage anniversary.

Taehyung kept his head down but listened carefully to what jungkook was saying.

Jungkook tells them everything that he knew. He was worried sick because he had promised his dad to take care of everything but himself didn't know what to do.
