You and Tony both walk into the main room you look down at your phone as you lean against the wall. You look up as you hear a set of heels walk against the floor you see pepper and start to smile. You quickly walk over to her and hug her as everyone but nat and Tony look at you confused due to you both hugging.

Y/n: yeah I know pepper and I fell leaving my apartment block bumped into agent romanoff on the way out of a coffee shop a few blocks from my apartment actually come to think about it why was she getting coffee so far away

You look at her confused as she looks back at you with a straight face showing no emotion as she crosses her arms.

Nat: well can't a girl just know a good coffee shop and only use that one Coffee shop no matter how far away it is from home

Y/n: yeah you need a new coffee shop but you also need to not lie to another former kgb Trainee we both know it's not a easy thing to do we were trained to smell bullshit a mile away then again maybe you've gotten softer tell me what was your training like in the red room

You look at her waiting on a answer as you see pepper move slightly from where she was stood putting herself closer to you than to nat.

Pepper: you know as good of a liar you are to everyone on the security team and to yourself doesn't mean that you can lie to everyone I know that you've been taking pain mads when he hurts you

Y/n: you know you're not meant to be looking through my stuff and you're not meant to be some people to go and get me because of your mother instincts I'm not a child I don't need help from anyone

You start to mess with your hair out of stress knowing that your not allowed to hit anyone. you suddenly feel a slight pain in your neck but pay no attention to it as tony starts to talk.

Tony: right pepper was concerned I know you might not give two shits about me you can't tell me that you don't care about her and yeah so what if it's a set up she's looking out for you

"God he likes the sound of his voice a bit too much" you think as you get ready to speak feeling the same pain in your neck. "this is why I need to behave better for him so I don't have to sleep on the couch and hurt my neck" you start to rub your neck slightly.

Y/n: you know what father I understand she cares about me what I don't understand is why you don't you know blood is thicker than water and all that but yet does it matter if the blood is thicker when the water has done a lot more for you than the blood ever has or ever will

Everyone looks between the three of you confused as they don't know if they should speak or not when the kitchen door opens
and out steps a woman. You look at her with no facial expression "she's kinda cute" you think still annoyed by tony and pepper.

Wanda: dinners ready

Everyone silently agrees to go sit down at the table, you take a seat in between nat and pepper still annoyed by this whole situation but having barely eaten anything the past few days you know you have no choice but to join. Steve, Bruce and wanda exchanged looks between the three of them as tony sits down with a drink you roll your eyes.

Steve: so tony are you gonna explain when you had a child and why you've been hiding them

You roll your eyes at Steve's question as you take a quick sip of your drink. "How dumb are you seriously" you just look towards tony waiting on his answer.

Tony: well twenty years ago Steve if you can believe it but she'd much rather be known as peppers child more than mine thinking about things when do you need to take your meds

Y/n: you know Tony I wonder why I'd rather be peppers child than yours can't quite work it out strange really and I don't fucking know when I'm meant to take them I can't remember so I haven't been taking them

you look at pepper as she moves slightly further forward you try to not make eye contact with her.

Pepper: y/n you know it's important that you take these when your supposed to otherwise your gonna try and do things again and that's not good they really did help to keep you in a good mindset

You look down at your sleeves as you start to pull them over your hands worried that someone might see.

Y/n: well I haven't done anything in a long time I haven't even had those thoughts in a while

You put your sleeves up but a bit too far on your right arm you notice and pull it down again. You look back up and notice nat looking at your arm "oh shit she didn't see that right" you give her a smile as you go back to eating,

Nat: after dinner I can show you your room for the night If you'd like and then maybe we can talk about getting your things tomorrow

Y/n: Well it's my apartment Which means I'm going home Tomorrow I'm not coming back also pepper I'm taking the weekend off so I can relax and I don't have to deal with work stuff

Pepper: ok sweetheart I'll let happy know that he'll be one down this weekend but I do expect you to think about retaking your meds at some point

you look at her and nod not wanting to answer as you know your probably not gonna take your medication. Everyone continues to have conversations as you tune out most of them. You continue to eat dinner with the rest of them as soon as you finish nat stands up and grabs your arm. You look at her confused as she doesn't say a single word but just takes you out the room. She takes you towards the stairs as you gulp feeling a sense of power behind her as you get brought to your room for the night. Nat pushes you onto the bed making you sit down as you look at her slightly panicked "god why are you making it so hard to be anything but a bottom right now if only you'd take charge right now" you bite your lip slightly and then shake your head trying to get rid of your thoughts.

Y/n: so miss romanoff what is this about exactly

You lean back on the bed putting your hands down on the bed palms down as you look at her.

Nat: you can call me nat and well we both know I can't let you go back to your apartment and I also know you've been cutting so you just lied about it to pepper and Tony so are you gonna continue to lie

Nat stares into your eyes as she speaks you gulp looking at her then look away "why are you doing this to me miss romanoff trying to prove that your in control here then again out of all people I wouldn't mind if you took control" you smirk as you realise she's waiting on you to speak.

Y/n: well you know miss romanoff we might be good at reading people and yeah most aren't but I was happy with my life before I got brought here now I'm gonna sleep so if you don't mind

Nat starts to leave the room as you watch her leave smiling as she does. You lay back on the bed with a big smile putting your hands behind your head.

Y/n: wow could she be anymore perfect

Nat: y/n did you say something

Your eyes widen as you realise she is stood just outside the door. "Ah fuck me and my big mouth of course she'd be hanging around for a bit how could I be so stupid"

Y/n: nope I said nothing

You hear her start to walk away and start to get ready to sleep, knowing that it's gonna be a long time till you can get to sleep.
