"Can you believe it Mr.Joseph, after quite some years, she started asking how I am?." Said Row not knowing his social circumstances
"Row that is uhm.........quite the dire, I know." Responded Mr.Joseph
"Shouldn't have dated her years ago, yet she blames herself as well." Said Row pinching his nose
"We all need to blame ourselves somehow, that is how we win arguments." Claimed Mr.Joseph
"I guess so." Answered Row
"My advice, just move on and stop thinking about the letter, she won't expect a reply. And two, try not to hurt more children please, the deans might find out." Consulted Mr.Joseph
"Well I am more of an outside guy remember?." Said Row
"Outdoors are always open, but likewise, I am still very happy to accommodate you my child." Said Mr.Joseph to his favorite student
"Thank you for the advice. Look, the sheriff messaged me an hour ago, I have to go, I'll see you in Boulder." Said Row
Row then head to Penelope's house for a debrief with the two. On the way in the lonely road again,
"Row, there is something.....something I feel......whenever I am around you............" quoted Kaylee in his mind
"Life is just a matter of talk boy. You talk good but you never walk it." Quoted Mr.Joseph
"Eh, despite I hit many, I am always aware of the girls I hang with man." Quoted Edison when he was drinking soda with Row on the cave
Arriving at the house after a road trip full of sad quotes,
"Anyone here?!." Yelled Row seeing no one outside
"Oh. Independent Row right?. Come inside the house." Said Penelope
Row came inside the house, and as he walked three steps in the house, A LAKE SCOUT WALKED BEHIND ROW AND SMASHED HIS HEAD WITH HIS NERF GUN, KNOCKING ROW OUT.
Row woke up unconsciously, tied up in a dry tree, in an open inactive crater pond area, with a lot of scouts watching him.
"Did the bugs bite you Rowenthal?." Asked Penelope closely
Row laughed; "Hehe, no. Nice place to start in an interrogation."
"Luckily it ain't mine. This is Enigo, the Lake Scout leader; this is ross, the Desert Scout leader." Introduced Penelope as she sat down in a rock
"The scouts have a broken tree, why can't they bow to only one?, why can't any scouts get along with another scouts instead of having a.....hehe, a silly war with each other." Asked Row while smiling confidently
Far Ross couldn't stand it and kicked Row's stomach, Row laughed as he felt the pain, Penelope and the scouts gave an 'oh' feeling his pain in a smile.
"YOU THINK YOU'RE SO SMART?!." Asked Ross
"Come up with a better word........." said Row as Ross interrupted him WITH ANOTHER PUNCH
"Calm down, we need him alive and well don't we?, well that is unless of course, we kids don't kill don' we, too far for a kid to do." Then it was Enigo's turn; "You have been on the wrong side Row, and the alpha scout is not happy."
"I am sure he ain't, he doesn't know what he was doing, I miss the preceded one." Laughed Row
"Preceded?." Asked Enigo
"It means previous you idiot." Said Penelope, laughing Row
"Well, I miss him too, but it is not time to talk about that." Enigo looked closer; "Why on earth, do you guys mess with every scout you meet?."
"Many scouts have asked me that.....and I am tired of answering it all over again." Said Row being lazy
"You messed with a lot of scouts, Forest Scouts, Lake Scouts, Canyon Scouts, Mountain Forest Scouts, Jungle Scouts, Valley Scouts, Hill Scouts, Even the powerful Taiga Scouts, Desert Scouts, and our scouts. What are the IYCR's game for this?." Explained Enigo looking for some answers
"Well............could you mention more?." Joked Row
Enigo walked back as he was pissed by Row's answers,
"You pissed him off. Ross, kick that guy!." Ordered Penelope as Ross KICKS ROW ON THE RIBS. Row felt the pain and laughed either way
Row coughed and later said while ventilating; "You kids better have some manners, this is not cool."
"You are a college student, why can't you just quit the fight, be mature and do adult stuff instead of this?!." Interrogated Penelope. Row stood silent, Penelope then said; "We are trying to do our jobs well, we serve the country and the state, and you dare come along to destroy us?!."
"Ooh I am scared." Joked Row which he laughed after
Penelope was disappointed of Row trying to play the group and not being able to spout out the truth of the IYCR's plan for the scouts, she opened her arms wide and talked to herself in dissatisfaction; "You know what guys. This is a cruel waste of time." She then called the commissioner, Row now knew their plot. After the call, "This will be a long day if you don't tell us Row. I ain't happy. Luckily you and the sheriff will need to have some talk with the commissioner."
"Where is Campbell?." asked Row
"Somewhere you don't need to worry about, the valley never needed laws, THEY LIVED INDEPENDENTLY!!!!!." Joked Penelope sarcastically, seconds later no one laughed, she then stomped the floor, ordering the rest of the scouts to laugh. "Ross, Enigo, let's go to the Stones, we need to have a meeting with Jon instead of wasting our time with him. Boys, protect the suspect until the LVPD has him. Goodbye." Penelope and the two scout leaders left.
One of the desert scouts held Row's Nerf Gun and aimed it in his stomach.
"Excuse me.....bro....." mocked the desert scout, making the other scouts laugh, "Mind if I shoot you with this ugly looking gun?."
"Mind if I shoot you with yours instead?." Asked Row staring down
"Huh?." Asked the desert scout
Row then kicked the desert scout, the desert scout's arms which was holding Row's gun, git trapped behind Row's back, Row then stomped behind him and trapped the desert scout. He then used the sharp plastic saw on the front of Row's gun and freed himself. A lake scout aimed at Row, Row counters him, he flipped the scout, then he used the scout's hands holding the scout's Nerf gun and fired three of the nearest scouts. Then he took the scout's gun and smashed the scout on the ground, and shot two more scouts. Six scouts came close, he then jumped to cover in the rock, he reloads the Nerf Pistol quick like a hawk, and shot all of the six in sight.
"Eh, everyone ok in there.." asked a Lake Scout coming close, Row then shot him in the head consciously
Row then interrogated one of the scouts as they were downed and hit by paintball bullets fired by the pistol.
"Surprised now that I don't use my gun???!!!." Threatened Row grabbing the scout's badge ribbon
"Yes. Yes. Yes. Please!!!. Let me go!, MY BADGES!!!." Cried the little scout
"YOU CARE ABOUT IT SO MUCH??!!. Answer me this!!. What was Penelope doing to me?." Asked Row
"I. I. I. don't.........." scared the kid
Row grapped harder; "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW?!."
"I was only here to guard you, Penelope was going to get intel from you to give it to alpha and the commissioner. Please, please, that was the original plan. I don't know more. Don't hurt me, I am too young to die, I am just a kid." Begged the kid
Row then calmed himself and release him; "You are right, you are just a kid. Kids nowadays."
Then he heard a siren coming close, he grabbed his powerclips and left the area.
