Imagine having a tv for a head? Couldn't be you, but it is of someone you admire.

Almost every weekend, you and your friends would go to a park near your house just to hang out and vibe there. The park also had a basketball court, which was good for your friends because they enjoyed playing basketball. You? Not so much. You're either drawing, or on your phone, or drawing on your phone, basically doing anything to pass the time. This weekend, however, would be different.

Listening to your favorite playlist, you take out your sketchbook and draw whatever came to your mind while your friends were spending their time on the court. In a matter of only a few songs beginning and ending, you can hear your friends cheering someone on. You look up from what you were doing and see that someone else has entered thy court. This someone was someone who you've never seen before and looked very ... unique from the majority of life on the planet. Squinting your eyes to get a better view, you see the figure is somewhat robotic but with a Television box for a head. 'Interesting character,' you thought. He was really good at shooting hoops though, and you actually like his distinct features. You then get the idea that you should draw him. Capturing every detail, admiring him more as you continue.

Halfway into your drawing, you hear your name being mentioned. Looking up from your artwork once again, you see one of your friends talking to the new stranger while pointing at you. They both noticed that you were staring at them and your face begins to heat up. "Y/N! Stop being anti-social and come talk to Hex." One of your friend's shouted at you. Hex gave you a soft close-eyed smile causing your heart to leap. You obliged, removing your headphones/earbuds from your ears and walk over to them. Shy and nervous as you were, and face still hot, you keep your arms in front of you and avoid eye contact with Hex.

"Hello, Y/N!" Hex greets enthusiastically. "H-hi," you greet back, hating that you stuttered in the process. Your friend spoke up, "She can be shy when it comes to new people so, be patient will ya?" "Of course!" Hex responds. After that, your friend left with he rest of your group to continue their game. Hex, however, wanted to talk to you and know more about you. "So, what were you drawing if you don't mind me asking?" 'Oh shit,' you mentally say to yourself, remembering that you spent the last several minutes (attempting to in) drawing him. "Uhh, nothing. Nothing interesting at least," you respond, even though it was a lie. You know that he is by far the most interesting being alive. "Oh ok. You like to draw, I'm assuming?" He asks. "Eh, whenever I'm bored. Otherwise I'm just scrolling through my phone." You say while walking back over to the area you were sitting at earlier. Hex unexpectedly followed you, sitting down as well. "Sooo, how long have you been playing basketball?" You ask to break the silence. "For about twelve years," he responds. That answer makes sense considering he was so good at it. You then asked yourself a question and ended up asking him out loud, "If you've been playing for twelve years, you're around my age then?" He hesitated, then responded with "I have no idea!! :D" Which caused you both to laugh at how enthusiastic he sounded.

After several conversations, you allow Hex to go through your sketchbook, which is something you rarely let others do. As he's going through it, he, of course finds the drawing you made of him. "ooooo, I like this one!" He announces. "Which o-" you cut yourself off after noticing he found the drawing of himself. You let a very concerning noise and snatched the book from him. Realizing the gesture you made was rude, you spurt out apologies left and right, "Sorry, sorry, I just ... hope you don't think I'm, like, weird or anything." You finally remark while looking away from him. "What? No! I don't think you're weird at all. I actually find you quite nice!" he comments while giving you that heart-leaping smile. You look back at Hex and thank him. Others would think your art was weird or ill-favored, so him complimenting the piece and then yourself really had a positive impact on you. Leaving with your group of friends around sunset, you ask if he would be here tomorrow. In which he responds with "Yes I will, since I have nothing else to do this weekend." You say back, "that's cool. I might be back as well ... I'd love to see you again." You side hug him, not to make it seem like you were rushing things ... only for him to fully hug you back.

"I'd love to see you again too, Y/N :]"
