Ruv x FEM!Reader fluff

(Short chapter! Also, this is my first time writing fluff, so constructive criticism is accepted! Well, nonetheless, I hope you enjoy!)

So for "some reason", you asked Ruv to meet you at your place. Totally not because you like him or anything.

Waiting for his arrival, you managed to clean your house, get some sort of mood set for your home, and put on a good looking outfit. But again, not because you like him or anything.

Meeting Ruv through Sarv, of course, you found him quite .. interesting, but in a good way. You'd ask him more questions about himself, until you eventually became friends with him, but you were hoping you both could be a bit more than that. Totally because you like him.
Suddenly! There is a nock on your door. You rush to open it after making sure everything looked nice. Taking a deep breath in and exhaling, you open the door to greet who you've expected.

"Hi, Ruv!" "Um, hi," he responds, sounding confused.
"You're .. less groggy than usual," he says, which catches you off guard.
"I-I'm not groggy!" You pout. After allowing Ruv enter your home, you could already tell he was mentally judging what you did with the place. Or at least you thought he was judging.

"Looks nice," he complimented.
"Me or the house?~" You jokingly teased, but he didn't catch on.
"Both, I guess."
"Aww, that's—wait, what do you mean by 'I guess'?—"
"Anyway, why did you call me over here?" He asks, sitting down on your couch. "N-no important reason! I just wanted to see you and ... ok, there is a reason," you respond, sitting next to him.

"I was just .. thinking—well, I've been doing some thinking, and .." you stop yourself, realizing that Ruv is wearing that bored expression on his face again.

"Why are you looking at me like that??"

"I .. always look like this?" He responds confused.

"A-anyway, I came here today—I mean, I called you here today to tell you something .."
Ruv motions his hand in a "continue?" gesture.
"W-well ... ugh!" You face plant yourself onto Ruv's shoulder.
"This is harder than I thought it would be," you say to both him and yourself. "Look, whatever it is you have to tell me, just take your time," he says while leaning head onto yours. "hhhhhh," your face heats up, "this is why I fucking love you," you mumbled. "You what?" He asks.
'God fuck,' you think to yourself in panic, "n-nothing, don't worry about it—"

"No, seriously, what did you say?"

You remove your head from his shoulder and look up to him. "*sigh*, I said 'this is why I fucking love you,' since you wanna to know," you pout in unnecessary frustration. Bringing your head to your knees in shame? You awaited his response. "Well," he started, "that's one way to say you admire someone .. my only question is um .. why me?—"

"'WHY' you?" You stood all the way up, "Where do I even BEGIN?? The DAY Sarv introduced me to you, I felt comfort and not uneasy like how I am around other people. Hanging out with you or even just being around you on regular basis was enough to show me a side of you that actually cares about people. For someone who's been a criminal and wanted by police for .. quite some time, you aren't as much of an asshole as you look. You're so quick to be at aid for me, so willing to defend me .. you've overall became one of my main priorities in life." You sit back down and grab his hand, entwining your fingers with his. "And .. that's why I love you, Ruv ... god that was so corny," you say looking away from him.

"I-It wasn't 'corny,' it was actually sweet and sincere, I can tell,"
"Of course it was sincere," you slightly laugh. Ruv tilts your face so that you look up at him once more.
Then out of the unexpected expected, he kisses you! Very passionately in fact, and out of instinct, you kiss him back. Once you both were finished, you sort of just stare at him for a moment as your beat increases.

"So, that's an 'I love you too'?" You ask.
Ruv chuckles in response, "yes, Y/N, I love you too." He then pulls you into a hug in which, eventually turned into him spooning you, whiiich eventually turned into cuddles for the rest of the evening.

"Ruv?" You ask out of nowhere as your mind is still processing everything.
"Hm?" He responds.
"Thank you. Either battling someone to the death for me or even answering a text message, I thank you for that."
Ruv doesn't know how to respond to this, but on the inside, his mind is racing as his face heats up uncontrollably. You're always somehow able to find a way into his heart. "You're welcome," he finally says back and kisses you on your cheek.
