Timeskip: the night before the Sakura Festival
Your Pov
"Y/n, hurry!" Kakashi shouted
"Right, I'm trying, just wait for me!"
Kakashi then stopped and clutched his stomach.
"Kakashi?" I said walking towards his black silhouette
"Kakashi? Are you ok, what's-"
"Why?" He said
"huh?"
"Why!" He kept saying
"Kakashi! what are you talking about. Kakashi?!" I said worried
'(cough), (cough).." Kakashi started coughing up blood
"KAKASHI!" I shouted
"Who did this to you?!" I said gripping on his shoulder
He then stood up, turned around, and pushed me. I tripped and started walking backwards. I then felt like I was standing above a cliff. Kakashi's figure was now turning slightly into a dark mist.
"Kakashi, wait, we can talk this through." I shouted nervously but, the figure in front of me kept walking forward.
"You..." He said
"YOU DID THIS TO ME!" he shouted pushing me off the cliff
"AAAAH!" I shouted springing out of bed.
"What was that?" I said trying to calm down.
'maybe if I get some fresh air?' I thought looking out my bay window.
I roll over and look at my alarm clock and its reads 3:00 a.m. I slowly get out of my bed and put on a baggy sweatshirt and then walk towards the door. I slip on my sandals and leave. As I left my house I began to notice how quiet everything is.
'It's almost peaceful.' I thought while digging my hands into my sweatshirt. As I'm walking by the neighborhood a notice a familiar figure sitting on his porch. I then walk over and said "Yo, Kakashi." I said in a tired voice.
"Y/n? What are you doing up at this hour?" He said shocked
"Oh you know the usually..." I said laughing
"Sure." He said not believe any word that came out of my mouth.
Kakashi then patted the wooden floor next to him and I walk over and sat down.
silence
"Hey Kakashi?" I ask
"mmhmm?" he hums
"What are you doing up?" I asked and he just leans back, placing both of his hands behind him, and tilts his head towards me.
"Well, just the usual 3:00 a.m. wake up." he said sighing
"Did you have a nightmare?" I ask and he just stares directly at me.
"Why do you ask?" he says turning towards me
"w-well, no reason, I may have had a nightmare." I said mumbling the last part
"Oh? Really?" he said calmly in a raspy low voice.
"What was it about?"
'God damn that voice.' I thought
"Oh, uh, I don't know..." I said trying to dodge the topic
"Are you not telling me because I was in the dream?" he asked curiously
"...."
"Oh, I get it." He said placing his right hand under his chin.
"you do?" I asked
"Are you sure it was a nightmare?" he said smirking trying to lighten the mood
"Kakashi." I said annoyed and looked away slightly
"Chill out, I'm just teasing." He said now beginning to get up. I then sighed and got up and began to walk down the stairs.
"You know it's almost 4:00 a.m. You could just stay here?" Kakashi offered
"hmm? I don't know, you won't try anything weird...." I ask pointing at him
"Define, 'weird'" he asked leaning in the doorway
"You know what I me-nevermind." I said in defeat and Kakashi smirked
"So?" he asked
"Fine. I'm too tired to walk home." I said lazily and he nodded
"You can just sleep in my room, I'm probably going to stay up reading anyway." He replied
"Kashi, you need to sleep, and we are going to the festival tomorrow and I don't want you to be falling asleep on me." I said placing my hand on my hip.
"whatever." He said and then walked over to the couch and sat down
"what are you doing?" I ask
"Going to sleep?" he said
"There's no way your sleeping on the couch, just go to lay down on the bed, and I'll sleep on the couch." I said now pulling Kakashi into a standing position.
"It's fine." he said
"No 'it's not fine'" I said mimicking Kakashi
"Do I really sound like that?" he asked and I nodded
"We could share the bed?" I said nervously scratching my cheek.
"Are you sure?" Kakashi asked hoping I would say 'yes'
"Y-yeah, I don't see why not?" I said shrugging.
"ok, if you say so." he replied walking into his room and laid down on the bed, getting under the covers. I then walk over and slide in next to him.
'Maybe, this was a bad idea.' I thought trying not to blush
Kakashi then turned towards the wall and said "goodnight"
I also turned so our back were facing each other and said "night"
