Yuyutsu went and sat on a throne the seven (Including Draupadi) of us walked to the centre of the court Maharaj was looking very angry
"Pranipat, Maharaj." we seven greeted in unison, Maharaj looked away, we exchanged looks thinking He is still angry. we turned to Pitamaha
"Pranipat, Pitamaha." we greeted
"Ayushman bhavah." said Pitamaha raising his hand blessing us, we turned to Kakshree
"Pranipat, Kakshree." we greeted
"Kalyan ho, vats." said raising his hands blessing us, bhrata Yudhisthir looked at Jyesht, bhrata Bheem, Nakul, Sahadev, Panchali and me, and pointed his eyes to empty thrones gesturing us to go and sit, we nodded and went and sat down on the thrones. Bhrata Yudhisthir stepped forwered
"Maharaj, a while ago, as the bhavan in Varnavat had caught fire, we had to flee from there. That is why, we had decided to stay away from Hastinapur. And deeming us dead, you coronated Duryodhan as yuvraj." said bhrata Yudhisthir gesturing to Duryodhan
"But now, I am here to serve you, and the entire kingdom. Tatshree, when an old bhavan is still standing, a new bhavan can't be constructed in its place. Until one harvests the current crops one can't sow new crops in the field. Similarly, Tatshree, when the former yuvraj is still present a new yuvraj can't take his place." said bhrata Yudhisthir, he joined his hands
"I request you to declare Duryodhan's coronation as yuvraj null and void." he said
"I-"
"Avashya, bhrata Yudhisthir." said Duryodhan interrupting Maharaj, we all looked at him he stood up
"The truth is, the moment you returned my coronation as yuvraj became null and void on its own. For you, I give up this throne of mine." said Duryodhan, Jyesht, bhrata Bheem, Nakul, Sahadev, Panchali and I exchanged confused looks thinking What is he up to. Duryodhan walked to bhrata Yudhisthir bent and touched his feet
"Pranipat, bhrata Yudhisthir." he said joining his hands and hugged bhrata Yudhisthir they pulled away
"Pdharye, bhrata Yudhisthir." said Duryodhan gesturing to the yuvraj throne bhrata Yudhisthir looked at the throne then back at Duryodhan, who nodded. Bhrata Yudhisthir walked to the throne
"But," called Duryodhan, bhrata Yudhisthir stopped
"answer a question of mine, yuvraj." said Duryodhan, bhrata Yudhisthir turned around, Duryodhan looked at Panchali
"Despite having a pati when a woman has relationships with other men she is called a durachari." said Duryodhan his voice echoed in the court, bhrata Yudhisthir looked down, Jyesht, bhrata Bheem, Nakul, Sahadev and I fisted our hands and glared at Duryodhan, he looked at bhrata Yudhisthir
"In the other kingdoms of the Aryaverth," he said and looked back at Panchali
"such women receive the prison. If you face this question in the future, then how will you uphold justice, yuvraj? I have another question. In our kingdom no matter how much of a great worrier the senapathi is, if he is proved to be durachari then he gets punished! If the judge is durachari, then the raja punishes him too! "and his wife are durachari, then would punishing them, be correct, or not? No durachari person is ever given a position in the state politics! The position of a yuvraj is a sacred and stately one.
