The waiting line was out of view, winding down streets and reaching down past three streets. There had to be at least 1,800 beating heart beats accelerating with every second waiting for the heavy metal gates to open and finally experience euphoric concert. Closing close to 5pm impatience was growing steadily mixed unhealthily with a large dose of adrenaline causing many uproars of pointless shouting and arguing. Some of my group even got involved and almost acted as peacekeepers calming don't the war between two brightly neon coloured hair 13-year old's. It was an amusing sight, but it wasn't enough to fully distract me from the remaining uneasy feeling that now, was being pumped throughout my whole body, settling finally in my heart. My mind couldn't help but wonder to the untypical and almost sinful first meeting with Yungblud. What baffled me the most wasn't his cold greeting but was: why the dreadful heavy weight in my heart disappeared when we locked eyes. At 5pm the entrance was finally opened shifting the crowd's energy dramatically. As we all rushed in like a stampede and got into position front row touching the barrier, I couldn't help but notice the security guards looking at me suspiciously. I questioned all my past actions since entering the venue and I couldn't pinpoint anything I have done wrong. Choosing to ignore them and accepting the fact that maybe that was just their resting face to look intimidating, I turned to face the stage. Luna's three energy drinks were practically projected through her explosive actions and loud screams, making me giggle to myself "Wow won't you just look at this view!" she nudges my shoulder carelessly. "We will get the best view from here if you know what I mean", she winks at me playfully casting a small grin on my face.
The crowd was intoxicating. As the stage lights slowly dimmed down leaving us all in the pitch black signifying the start of the show, my heart threatened to collapse. The sensation worsened every second bordering a feeling of faintness and utter soreness. At once, I felt my knees go weak and my eyes slowly blur with tears making me unable to make out any facial features or objects. A dark figure ran on stage dynamically. As I lost my sight, the only sense that remained was my sense of hearing which was overwhelmed by the dominant starting song of "Superdeadfriends".
